it cycles wallpapers but in the mix are some FFX themed ones (i know that one of auron is fairly low quality i just cant be arsed to find a higher res one and it changes frequently enough that it doesn't bother me anyway)
I should definitely go on playing FFX
Anyway, here's mine in Windows 7:
And in my Windows 8 Virtual Machine, lol (Man, I love Windows 8, I should definitely return to it)

XD Wow. That screen doe. I would personally suggest using VMWare. VirtualBox has given me multiple problems in the past, and VMWare seems to be the most stable and easiest to use. And the free version is just fine, I wouldn't worry about paying for it.
Hopefully I didn't just do some advertising right there... XD

1. you really should. if you have the patience it really does unfold into a wonderfully emotional story. i absolutely love it.
2. i literally downgraded from 10 to 8.1 because i loved windows 8 so much

I downgraded back to 8.1 because 10 was messing up quite a bit. Some of the visuals were also really annoying.
and then they chose after 10 isn't free anymore to release an update...

Windows 8(.1) is a very, very good OS but it's underrated unfortunately. I personally love the start screen because it gives you much freedom to customize your system.
And I love the professional look of Windows 8.1, its flat look (and not that childy Windows 7 Aero look)
Windows 10 looks ugly and the start menu is a total mess

yeah my windows 10 was having some issues too but mine was due to me going from insider to non insider builds.

same i really love the start menu on windows 8
i like the immersiveness and organisation you can have with it and also it's colourful simplicity. i hate how dull windows 10 and they regressed on some good design choices (centered title bars, using the proper font for the title bar. seriously how did they fuck that up???). windows 10 is good it's just not what i want from windows. i liked the colourfulness of 8(.1) much more
