I'll be surprised if i reach the top 20.
Nah, I'm sure you'll get top 20, you always have the "second" best bosses made in this community.
Who makes the best ones then?
Well of course, Mudkip.

And when have you seen mudkip doing another one again? IIRC he hasn't done anything since almost a year.

question about the contest. i can speak english and i understand english but i am not really sure how exactly this "you can't say which level you made" works (do not get me wrong i do understand what it means and i do understand the words of it) i just wondering how exactly is the "you can't say which level you made",is it that the Zip folder that must not have the name as the level or does it mean that i cannot tell about the level here in public and that when i submit the level i must not give any information about it to the judges. Please answer me because i do not want to violate the red rules

Mudkip is not participating. I asked him if he wanted to, but he said no. So is Darkonius gonna have the best boss now?

The zip should have the name and you give it to Valtteri, who sends it forward to the judges.
Don't give it to anyone else or post anything about itm

I like the fact that you guys are assuming that i make good bosses
Not to mention that i rushed the end of the level, so if i made a boss (not gonna reveal if i did or didn't make a boss, as Valtteri would insta-ban me from the contest!!!) for my cc12 level, It would be crappy!1!1!!1!1!1

It just means that you may not tell a judge which level you made. It doesn't matter if you put your name on the zip file because I will extract all of them and send the levels to the judges in one zip file.

You know what, I originally didn't think of joining but I'm making a level anyway, so I could use that for this contest.
It probably won't rank that high because it's en episode level. But ah well, will be a good opportunity to get feedback.
It would be my first ever contest

How about expanding that to "The level must be complete and completeable with any character, or have a character block of a character who can beat the level at the part that can't be beaten with a certain character"
I like to use different characters when playing through the game, but it happens quite often that I am in the middle of the level and can't progress any further because I play as Peach and can't spin jump, play as toad and can't use Yoshi or play as Link and can't grab items. I don't want to stick with Mario, but at some point I felt like I had to.
Also... since you are allowing LunaLua, can you implement a way to switch characters anywhere in the mainHub, so that you don't have to go back to the player blocks?

The first thing you mentioned is in my opinion a level designer's issue, not an issue with the rules. That rule is fine in my opinion.
The hubs for the contest episodes are usually pretty easily navigatable. If it's really that much of an issue in time or whatever your issue is, you can always just use "itsamemario" or "itsameluigi", etc.

You don't need anymore to use character blocks on your level to force the player to use character x, you can easily use Lua to make an automatic transition.

You're right that the rule should specify what character the level should be completeable with. I'll update it to say that it has to be completeable with at least Mario. I don't really want to require the participants to think of all five characters while designing their levels as that's surprisingly restricting. Finding out in the middle of the level that it's impossible with certain characters sucks but unfortunately there's little we can do about that. Maybe add a way to change characters at any point in the game with LunaLua.

About changing characters at any point in the game:
https://youtu.be/XI8U0mo_CWY?t=606
All of MaglX2 did it.
About "having to be completable with Mario": What if the level is designed around a different character, which it filters to? I think the
participant should specify which characters can complete the level.
