Good to know that lvlx will be supported in the future at least. Probably not a good idea to keep waiting for it before starting the actual level creating process, I expect it might take a long time.

The first one kind of breaks the flow in a Metroid-styled game. You warp inside the same "zone" and get a loading screen for no reason. The latter is what I'll have to do then, but I really wanted to avoid it, as it involves extra work.
EDIT: Found this so I guess I'll manage.

In beta 4, you'll be able to customise loading screens, so warping between levels is actually a sensible option.

Beta 4 is shaping up to be fantastic.

Thanks for the info.

How do you know they're gonna be in the game?

It's unlikely that we'll add more music. You can easily add more via custom music or a music.ini file

Custom loading screens? Have any examples we could see?

The current default one looks like this:

Certainly much better than the old one that only showed the amount of lives the player had, but now it seems the player doesn't know how many lives they would have until inside a level?

People still care about lives?

Only because they are there and you don't want a gameover while playing. Are lives being removed completely in beta 4?

I actually doubt it, but they are actually easy to be removed, or added back if removed by default. removing them by default would break 1.3 compatibility though.

I'd rather have an HP and MP bar than lives, for certain types of adventures.
Like for example, the thing I'm making with Terra Branford.

A couple of questions:
1. Can we make a custom Game Over?
2. Can we make our own menus and menu options for each specific episode?

The proper question is how. All of this stuff is possible... but only through code. You'd have to learn lunalua to do it and I'm sure if you ask a dev they would gladly help you out.

The developers ever said that Custom game over would come in Beta 4, but about custom menus for specific episode wouldn't be available yet.

You can technically make a custom menu in Beta 3 if you make your hub level just a menu on startup. I don't recall anyone of us ever saying that game overs would come in beta 4 though.
