Anyway, I still have a level I was making before it was closed, so here I'm showing this:
Wow now looks shit
Also that SMW pipe is there because the level is missing a graphics for whatever reason

Why is it so linear and bland looks nice, but I think it lacks some BGOs.

If you mean the Fire Flower, I ripped it myself. But if you mean the Fire Trap, it's from Valtteri's pack, I just recolored it.

DS backgrounds don't really fit in 16-bit levels. You should change that background with something else.

Idk, seems kind of empty. The only noticeable neat thing is that the rotobugs (correct me on their name if I'm wrong) replace koopas, which is a nice touch. I would recommend adding a lot more scenery to this.
Also:
There's a huge story behind that picture frame in particular, and it involves KFCMARIO.
