1.3.0.2 is lunalua smbx.

Also how would it not count as official? It's already in the beta and Joey himself posted the dl for it.

I make no idea of why they call this 1.3.0.2

Stuff like this, and this whole thread, makes me appreciate how much testing must have gone into Mario Maker. The thing is solid as a rock.

There's a certain diference between a guy alone making an whole fan-engine and hundreds of developers making a game for Nintendo

Also, Redigit worked only 2 years in SMBX, maybe he was planning to fix bugs in the future, but...

Most of the stuff posted here are just game exploits or actual intentional behaviours, there aren't that many glitches in SMBX (heck, LunaLua even fixes some of the big ones!). And afaik Mario Maker isn't that "glitch-proof", it has lots of bugs as well.

Oh, I'm not saying it should be better, just that it's easy to forget how complex these games can be.

I can only think of two, the invincibility + door glitch and the invisible block glitch, both of which are now fixed.

It's actually amazing SMBX has as few bugs as it does.

There are more for sure - the Yoshi wings glitch (go through certain pipe warps with a blue shell in Yoshi's mouth and he keeps the wings but not the shell) and the "mushroom crashes the game when it hits lava" glitch (which is fixed by LunaLua) come to mind. But yeah, they are pretty few and far between.

I also remember a glitch that makes it possible for Link to jump infinitely, as long as he destroys blue blocks which are above him.

I found a video from the glitch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gqzxvbq ... Z6sGKn7rGw

Again, that's an exploit, not a glitch.

I can think of at least ten bugs in Mario Maker: placing mystery mushroom in any other style; being able to get stuck in the ground by climbing a vine and jumping; sometimes Course World doesn't show correct information about levels; it's possible to crash the game either by placing a door behind a Giant Muncher and entering it, or placing an enterable pipe just right under the second half of the level's vertical screen; it's possible to make Bowser freeze by placing him inside the conveyor belt cage; Thwomp will no longer hurt you if you'll go through it at the top; possible to get launched into the air by repeatedly pressing left + right if you'll jump on a springboard; possible to launch into the air if you have a clown car; you can mess up Yoshi's animations; possible to get stuck if you have two springboards.

None of this has been fixed. So yeah, Idk where you got it from that Mario Maker is "glitch-proof". SMBX doesn't have bugs like this, and even if someone would like to replicate them somehow, they'd be easily fixed. SMBX is much more fiexable than Mario Maker.

Hopefully PGE will be totally glitch-proof

I found a bug: Toad's boomerang grabs friendly coins!

All of these bugs have been fixed since 1.3.

Anyway, it's possible to complement Nintendo on a job well done without taking it as an insult.

okay we reached this point again.

You mean the point where people can't compliment a company on a job well done without other people taking it as some sort of insult?

What an incredibly wonderful first impression of this community.

Both Mario Maker and SMBX are very good in their own way.

You make a great impression of yourself here too. /sarcasm You base your whole first impression of this community off of the comment of one person and don't appreciate the hard work people do without any personal benefits (Redigit made no money off of this) whatsoever.

It's funny, but crashes the game.
If an enemy collides with a npc moving that's set to npcblocktop to 1, it will go fast as heck and crash the game. :P
Since it dosen't know what else to do than mess you up.
