CC7-CC12 have had a massive variety of quality issues. A vast majority are pretty godawful, save for a few extremely good levels I could count on one hand.
SCC1 hits a sweet spot for me tbh. Being the only one who has played (almost) all the levels, I find myself actually liking quite a bit of them, and the contest in itself has more phenomenally good levels than all the 12 contests smbx has hosted combined... in my humble opinion. Good luck to everyone who has submitted! You've impressed me at the very least, but then again that's not very hard.
Also TOB7 was the SMB2 one.
I said that the best was CC5 and CC6 because my favorite levels are from these contest...Ultimate Airship Invasion and The Golden Palace are my favorites of all time..
And with a few levels isn't tedious play the ToB... IDK how to explain
But of course there are amazing levels in CC7-CC12
I also have a question, When will be the next SVLC?

Oh I getcha. My favorites are probably Steins;Volcano, Robotics;Toybox and, albeit a bit outdated, Chad's CC7 level.

On an unrelated note, I finally got to play Sonic Mania and f*ck me sideways it's fantastic~
if you spoil anything you die
Calm down. When I sent a small fix of my level to Timelord he got back saying it didn't work, so I tried to patch it and sent it back to him. He never got back to me on whether it worked or not. That's all.
...oh wait... You were talking about Mania weren't you?

No episode? Dangit. If mechdragon wants / can make one and is allowed to that would be great. Something simple is good, doesn't have to be super ambitious.

I want to, I just need all of the levels and permission.

I second this idea. The contestants deserve to have their levels showcased. (I know you can download them if they made them public, but, please, it is not the same)

1: Valtteri was making it
2: It will never happen anyway, according to both Valtteri and Quill. That much has been confirmed.
Aw, dangit. I've been waiting so long for it. When did they say it's been cancelled? On Discord, on the forums? Can you link it?

Like ivanmegafanboy said, that'd be great! It's just not the same downloading the levels and playing through them individually. Tower of Biased Zero was a treat, and I could see this easily being something epic.
