Just finished my entry. Time to test and submit it. :)

I'm really feeling it.

If we get less than 20 submissions, the number of levels moving to finals will be cut down to 5, so submit your levels before it's too late!

Less than 20 submissions?

That sounds really low for an official contest (if this counts as one). Maybe the hype came too soon or wrong time.

I care more about quality than quantity. Let's hope the levels that make it into the contest are high quality! That'll justify having not too many. There's also probably still more coming.

Probably both. Coming at a time where people are in a creative slum.

Why have I heard about this only now? 2 Days before submissions are due?

im pretty sure this contest didnt take off for several reasons
-most of the actual level designers are long gone from this place
-the title and the overall presentation didnt really make it sound like it was a contest
-joey is gay lol

This time i didn't participate before even starting a level. I'm proud.

The SMBX Revived contest, while it was technically an official contest (more like CC5.5) only got 21 submissions, and I have a feeling this contest is going down the same way, and as of now we've got at least 13 submissions. The problem is that while this is an official contest, it can be put down to the bad timing, because around this point, a lot of members have to study for exams and thus don't have a lot of time to work on their levels. Sure, a second deadline extension could do the trick, this won't do anything because it just so happens to take it right into when exams are likely to hit. In my opinion, this should have been held off until June as at this point a lot of us will have time to work on our levels - me included if I wasn't a judge - and this was exactly why previous contests prior to CC7 were always held in summer.

However, we could see a submission rush today or tomorrow, so there's all to play for.

I'm just hoping that there'll be another official contest in the summer (or winter) because right now is not really a great time to start a contest. (Because I don't think I can make a level as decent as my latest CC level due to school and stuff)

I am still doing last minute fixes. Been doing this everyday for the last five days. I am not sure if it is good by any means, but it is what I was going for mostly, and I believe my partner can agree. When having others test it, most say it is good and once said not good. I have been trying to fix up the inconsistenties for a week, and feel like we may get sixth at best, but hope for higher. Good luck to all.

If you have a level, make sure to finish it up and submit before the deadline passes! If not, you can always make-do with what you've got!
