How old is your computer? What are the specs?
I got from my dad. I'm pretty sure it's from 2007.
It's a Toshiba laptop, the System Model is Satellite L505 and my processor is Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU and T440 2.20Ghz (2 CPU's) 2.2 GHz.
My processor has only 2.0ghz for both cores and SMBX runs phenomenally well. What's the Ram? Did you optimize your computer?(As in disk cleaning, disk defragmentation, disabling unnecessary background programs etc.) Doing these things should help speed up the game as well as your computer as a whole.
Thanks, it's 4.00 GB

That should be enough RAM to play the game.

No problem. Mine is 3.00GB. The fact my computer can run SMBX2.0 flawlessly shows you may need to do the optimization. Good luck.

Question: Can you make the jump-through platforms slope? As in, make something like this:

It's not that big of a deal if it's impossible, because this is one of the biggest upgrades to anything I've ever seen... ever! I'm just kinda curious, is all.

That would be awesome, but I am pretty sure that there isn't any room.

It's potentially possible in the future, but we are missing quite a few customisation options for blocks at the moment, so this will be some time coming. It's something I'd like to see eventually, though.

So... for some reason whenever I enter certain levels of my episode or test them with LUAtester, I get an error in which SMBX Crashes. I have the error right here:
Can anybody help out here?

That's... an interesting bug.
Try running one of the other .exe files in the 2.0 installer. Those need to be installed for it to work properly. Not sure if that will fix your issue, but it might.

I know it is possible with just events, layers, and custom BGOs. (And invisible Axe generators set to zero gravity)

But NPCs will fall through so it's not very reliable

NPCs can't fall if you use layers and events. They just can't touch the slope, because of the axe generators (and this is the only problem with using layers and events).

It also sounds rather complicated, tedious and time consuming. It would be possible to add if they had the source code.

On top of that, you can jump through any slope regardless because the code for a slope's solid pieces arrange it so that it is solid as a corner piece, but if you jump under one while duckibg, if you unduck close to the same frame that you hit your head, but a little sooner (not later) you can phase through it.

Another bug (tbh i think this was expected because it's multiplayer related) on the world map, when you press start and scroll through the characters, 2nd player gets a bit buggy with it.

I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure SMBX 2.0 hasn't focused too much on two-player support for the new features
