Are you referring to the graphics of the water or the concept of the water? If you're referring to the graphics, what would you recommend changing it to?

Okay. There's good reasoning behind it (derived from the storyline of my episode), I'm just not going to give it away right now.

I don't think going full ham on a level meant to be simplistic (do you want me to place line art bushes or what? That wouldn't make any sense lol) is the right way to go. Besides, it only looks empty because PGE butted the background away.

It's almost like some people know what they're doing when they're designing their levels :P

While I'm waiting for this filling process to complete, have a radicola screenshot of the fill area I want to finish filling up (34000 blocks):

Leave the Goombas and the tree trunk. Don't go overkill with the green or else it won't look good almost 100% of the time (very few levels can pull it off). Secondly, why are there jumping piranhas in the ground? Also, to second Liraxus, here's another example of what trees can look like (from my WIP SMW Borderlands episode): Image

Try to export with "Tiled background" flag, it will force tiling of background image (repeat to both directions: AND horizontal, AND vertical) ;)

Thanks by the hints! And about the piranha plants on the ground... it is part of the idea of my level

But my idea is to make a level with lots of green, is it a bad idea? (I'm needing some help from people more experient XD )

Lots of green is an okay idea, but everything green really is not; I'd keep the brown things brown. Leave the goombas and the tree trunks their natural colour or it would likely be quite eyesore. For a forest level especially, you'll want to leave in the browns.

Darker green for the background can help too.

I wasn't planning to make the trunk green anyway :)

I will use murchers and nipper plants in my level, it's ok to color them of light green?
