No-one knows. However, beta 4 should be coming pretty soon, so you have that to look out for in the meantime.

Development speed has been picking up again. The past 2 weeks have been quite the ride for the project. Check out some of the stuff that's happened:

I never would have expected npc descriptions and I love it. Whoever thought of that idea deserves a thank you from every one here. Good job.

The idea originates from Lunar Magic, a SMW editor. But the way they came up with it is great! 8-)

I like that new Mario Challenge hub, looks a lot better than the old one if you ask me. Also MEGA GOOMBAS WOO

Jeez that hub is beautiful. I can also see people making custom backgrounds using those scripts too.

Hotfoots.

So, that's what the Boo Platforms are called. Interesting.

I did research about SBM3 enemies and saw "Hotfoots" in MarioWiki
And yes, The boo platforms ARE an interesting feature.

While on the subject, what does it mean when an NPC is "pipelined"?

NPC descriptions will be definetly helpful, specially if you consider the ammount of new NPCs coming.
Also, the new mario challenge hub looks awesome!

Hot foots are not the boo platforms. They are firey enemies in SMB3 that behave like boos but stay on the ground.

Amyrakunejo actaully answered my question that was: "Hotfoots or Hotfeet?", and did not call the STRETCH BOOS hotfoots.
That said, however, there is something I forgot to clarify: Boo platforms are where the stretch boos pop up.
You're also right about hotfoots, they act like boos.

It means the NPC is ready to be included in the next public release (so basically "this NPC will be in Beta 4")

Next time, I'll mark each point like so:

1) Hotfoots.

2) So, that's what the Boo Platforms are called...

Since I was answering the Hotfoots/Hotfeet query first and foremost, is a separate point from the Boo Platforms as I had always known them.

The Hotfoots do give chase when you're not looking; seems to be a common enemy mechanic in side-scrolling platformers.

I have two quick questions to ask:
1. Can we make it so that grafs only move straight for some seconds then turn around? I'm not too familiar with graph functions.
2. Will NPC slots 751-1000 be available for use in Beta 4?

My reasoning is that I plan to do some stuff involving grafs, LunaLua, and custom graphics when this comes out.

Slots 751 to 1000 will be kept open, yes.
