Hello there, I apologize in advance if this is in the wrong topic section. I did read the rules on registration and did not see anything against greeting threads.
Iv been playing this game since a few months after its first release, and enjoyed it a lot. I recently discovered this website, and thought id give it a try. I had not known SMBX was no longer being updated until I looked here. Id just like to say hello, to all of you. I came here after quitting Blockland and wanting to pick back up on one of my favorite games from when I was younger. Don't expect me to be one of those new forumers who doesn't think at all before they post, Ill try my best to maintain a serious and yet respectful attitude to everyone. Thank you for those who give me a chance here.

Oh, so here's the introductions thing. Good.
Man i spent a long time just trying to find this for some reason

Anyways, hi. My name's Alex, i'm from Brazil ([sarcasm]the best country[/sarcasm]) and i'm 14.
I try my hand at many things i find interesting but end up not learning much because of professional procrastination, and one of those things ended up being SMBX.
I found SMBX through Vinesauce and thought it'd be cool to play around with it. I eventually found this forum by looking for generic SMBX stuff and thought the community was overall pretty nice, so i decided to try and settle in to be part of it.

My nickname comes from somewhere, somehow.
tbh i have no idea how i came up with it but it's stuck with me for over 8 years now so ye
I do best with art, computer programming and making normal pasta into into ramen noodles, because i'm a djenius like that.
My favorite music style is EDM and chiptune stuff, and i mainly listen to videogame soundtracks (be it old or new) and Anamanaguchi.

I think this is pretty good for an introduction. but hey if you don't like it it's not my fault or anything gosh golly gee get off my back

Heya @Aleck! Nice introduction that you have right here, really like it! I'm @bossedit8 who plays, edit and record SMBX stuff! I also do other stuff like talking to friends and such. Have a nice time and please follow the forum rules!

This is a thread for introductions of new members, not for members coming back from a break. If you'd like to talk about your absence/why you were gone/any interesting things you were up to, feel free to make a thread in the Sandbox forum. Welcome back, nonetheless.

But then wouldn't the sandbox be cluttered with a lot of "I am back threads? Also they wouldn't get any replies unless you someone well-known here. So i don't think it's bad to post about that here. A simple rename would do the job.

No, Tinkerbell, the Sandbox forum isn't for people to announce that they're back. Notice how I said "talk about your absence/why you were gone/any interesting things you were up to". For example, if I left the forums to go on a month-long vacation and came back then it'd be fine for me to make a thread about it in the Sandbox forum.

Hello everyone.

It's been a long time since I was an active SMBX forum member, so here's some info about me. I used to be a fairly prominent member of Valtteri's SMBX forums back when those were a thing. My brother (Super Phanto) and I had actually created the SMW Beta small Mario & Luigi graphics for Valtteri when his episode "Valtteri Island III Return to Dinosaur Land" was in its earliest stages of development (until some other graphics took their place... they do look better than ours IMO). Needless to say, I pretty much stopped all things SMBX once I got to High-school. Turns out that shortly there after, Valtteri's forums simply disappeared (correct me if I'm wrong about that), which is a shame because I had done so much on there.

But I'm back now, and that's what matters. I'm actually more of a Super Mario Maker player now, but I still plan to make some SMBX content as well.

I hope I can make as many memories here as I did that long while ago.

Well, welcome back! I can't say I know you because my history here doesn't go that far back, but I'm sure someone does. Great to see some more members returning!
