Are you updating the episode? I have a fix for my SMB3 Rip Van Trouter.

I never use hat NPCs in my MxW2 levels.... is that a fish (i forgot the name) from SMB2? (i ever see a GFX like this in Sednaiur's SMB2 expanded GFX pack)
It would be nice if you give me the GFX so i will use it in MxW3.

In some levels, there was a blue Trouter replacing a swooper. It was with my SMB3 Recolored SMB2 NPCs. I made it. I don't know if you used it, but there you go.

I played a bit of your episode, the first 10 levels specifically. I've found 2 major flaws so far:

-Levels are unfocused. Every level that I've played so far don't have a gimmick that the level focus on, but rather lots of ideas that are left forgotten once you put them in the level. Levels are also mostly jumping and running. This issue was in every level I've played and it's quite bad, because if every level in the episode is similar to each other, the episode gets boring after a while and the player will probably not finish the episode because he is too bored. Honestly, the only thing that made every level different from each other were the graphics. Instead, you should try to design your levels around a gimmick and make so every level in the episode are different from each other because of the gimmick they have.
-There isn't a good introduction of the various ideas in the levels. I didn't know how to react to some of the things you have put in your levels. Actually, there isn't a good introduction of the entire episode: The first few levels are harder than the first levels in a normal mario game, and all of them have enemies that honestly should be put later in the episode. It's like if you designed these levels to be standalone levels. Remember that there's a difference between a standalone level and a level made for an episode.

There are also some other flaws, but they aren't big like the ones I mentioned:
-Inconsistency. Seriously, why are there different kind of coins and ? block in literally every level? This is kind of stupid in my opinion. Have some consistency, after all these aren't (or shouldn't be) standalone levels. This applies to difficulty, too: sometimes there are easy levels after to harder ones (for example, level 10 is easier than level 9, when it shouldn't be like this).
-Pointless switches and events. I still don't get why people put switches that only make some stuff appear, they add nothing in the level (the hidden stuff could be shown right away) and wastes events.
-This one is specific to level 2: The secret star is unindicated and the only way I could find it is by looking in the level editor. You should add an indication to where it is, maybe add some coins? (I didn't find any other secret star by the way, especially because I usually don't care about dragon coins and secret stars)
-You don't seem to think about the NPC and slope placement. For example, in level 7 some snifits are on slopes when they are shooting, and snifits can't shoot when they are on slopes. Level 7, 8 and 9 also have an annoying NPC placement, and in section 5 in level 8 it's impossible to not get it without something to kill the fish and the blooper (they literally block any way to get under the ? blocks).
-Level 9 has a bad palette.

Overall, I didn't find it to be too enjoyable so far. However, I found level 10 to be enjoyable and a bit insteresting (it had a bit of focus on the bullet cannons, although they get repetitive after a while). It still had the same flaws of the other levels, though.

I'll continue to try it now, hopefully these issues aren't present in the entire episode. Remember to don't make levels with the same flaws as these ones, though!

I find MxW1 to be more fun. Levels seem to have been a lot more creative in that episode than in Mix World 2.

mmm... I think i'm bad at gameplay & Design....
I think should use less switches, if needed I will not use any switches again.
I will do what Rudeguy said though.
Don't worry MxW3 will use LESS SWITCHES, Better templets palettes, Reduced length, and less coins tho.
(some of the levels in MxW2 are my Jan-Sep 2015 levels, when my palette usage was bad and I was a switch fan at that time)
icez when you will continue your LP I miss them
Edit :

Thank you for that, but did you understand what are the signs said (at MxW1)?
I think I should reuse some MxW1 concepts in MxW3...
Edit 2 : Vote Part 3 begins! (I hope a level without switches win)

Why do you like so much to place Venus Fire Traps & Lava Lotuses in inaccessible places for player?

I know this topic has been dead for a while, but there are some issues in this episode that need to be fixed:

In Mirror Mansion, the checkpoint is too close to a sizeable block. When you collect the checkpoint, then die, you will respawn on top of the level. Since the whole level has a ceiling, the only way to get out is to kill yourself with the stophittingme cheat, then go to a different level.

In Bramble Sanctuary, after you hit the red switch block, new Skull Rafts do not appear, and the only way to get back across the lava is to use the invincibility cheat.

In addition, there are many levels which have broken music. Either you forgot to change the extension to .ogg in the custom music box, or there is an accented letter like the "e" in Pokemon, which SMBX can't read properly.

Well then, let's just get to the point where I play this game and make videos off of it. Here's the first part of mine:

That's intended, I think. I mean, look at the title. It clearly says "Mix World". Then you would expect all levels to be themed as a composition of all themes, wouldn't you?
RudeGuy07 wrote:Levels are unfocused
Same as above I suppose. At least I imagine it to be very hard to focus on a gimmick and still maintain the "mix" atmosphere.
RudeGuy07 wrote:It's like if you designed these levels to be standalone levels.
I can imagine that to actually be the idea. It's a mix, after all.
RudeGuy07 wrote: snifits can't shoot when they are on slopes.
From all I know they can. I even remember them shooting when on slopes. You sure you don't have SMBX 1.4?
RudeGuy07 wrote:in section 5 in level 8 it's impossible to not get it without something to kill the fish and the blooper (they literally block any way to get under the ? blocks).
I think by "to not get it" you mean "to not get killed". Then this is certainly a problem, because even if it's intended it's really mean.

Now after adding my thoughts about your comment, I'd like to ask a question: If I convert all music to MP3, and edit the extension for all sections, is the episode then playable in Vanilla SMBX? Or is there more LunaLua-using stuff?

I don't know what the "mix" in the title means but I'm sure the creator wanted to make a good and fun episode. And those things I pointed don't make a good and fun episode.
Also, I have played this episode in SMBX 1.3.0.1 + LunaLua (and I'm pretty sure it was meant to be played in that version).

On the 1st Mix Wirld he used it as an excuse for clash and cutoff. And when he started to make sequels the name just kinda stuck i guess.

I've downloaded LunaLua yesterday (following the instructions) and then tried to play this again, but there's still no music. Is there a separated music download or do I need LunaDLL as well?

Also in Level 74 the moving chain is bugged and makes Mario fall off for no reason (as even admitted by a sign, but in addition with the snowstorms this makes the level de facto impossible to beat. The level is still good enough thus far without the chain).
