I played the demo and it's pretty nice. The controls are very tight and responsive, certainly better than Brawl's controls. Also, the physics feel less floaty and more realistic. The animations are great and so are the 3D effects. Definitely a great looking game even with the cartoony style. The character balance is also pretty nice so far.

This and that I love the assist trophies and the black outlines around the players.

They got the koopalings as Bowser Jr skins, and Im actually happy that the duck hunt dog is in smash actually.(Since it seems that he is in there, and that means that the link wasn't fake after all!)

Also video for people who want to see all of the alternate skins.

To me, Duck Hunt Dog just seems like too much of an "out of left field" character. I guess thats what makes him interesting to some. Though since this isnt a new thing with characters like Game & Watch and ROB potentially counting as this as well I could let it pass. I just thought he looked too out of place when he was added to Crusade, and I'm not talking about his moveset, just the character himself. Now that he's in Smash for real, I dunno, it just seems too weird to me.

This. I like him a lot for being an oddball, but then I find him weird for being an oddball. I mean, he sure does fit as a character, but in the most unexpected way possible.

Only those six characters are playable in the demo.

THE PUBLIC DEMO IS HERE, REJOICE PEOPLE!

So, who have y'all been using in the demo so far? I've personally been using Villager a bunch, he's a super fun and creative fighter. I haven't even played Animal Crossing and I love him already.

The demo is amazing, I really like the physics of the game and all the items and assist trophies are fantastic, too.

What I really liked were the characters, my favorite has to be Megaman though. Thus my avatar and username.

Mega Man is a bit hard to dominate, though I think I've got a solid hold over him now. But I play better as Mario, as he allows for more acrobatic maneuvers in the air with close-range attacks, which is my preferred way of playing Smash.

Why would they do that? Beside i would add characters that actually would be fun and what the new and old school games people not clone characters(godamm Dr. Mario), like robin and mega man would be great. Well if you want mewtwo there will be a mod for both 3ds and wii u to add mewtwo amd others like there was a mod for brawl.

What do you mean a mod? - You can't hack the 3DS. (Well you can but it still doesn't give you the ability to add such things as mods.).

mewtwo wouldn't be a clone, unless you're making a unfunny joke about mewtwo being a clone of mew....
