That's a pretty bold opinion. Gaming is a hobby for most. You could generally say the same thing about athletes really.

Correct me if I'm wrong, please. But I don't have much expectations for SMM as opposed to Game Maker or even vanilla SMBX and don't see SMM as a GAME development tool per se so much as a editor like Super Mario Flash or Super Mario 63. Color me surprised if I can make a Goomba purple, much less make a custom boss battle. Again, if I'm wrong and being a total fool please tell me.

You're not wrong at all, but I never really expected SMM to be a game development tool, and I know that playing it and designing with it could easily help inspire SMBX levels and episodes. Even if you think the game itself is utter useless and uninspiring, there's still all of the unique official sprites that have been added.
Besides, there's no real reason to make a goomba purple in an official Mario game, nor to make 5+ minute magnum opus battles or endurance tests, but if you want to make bosses in Super Mario Maker you can go pretty wild and experimental without nearly as much effort and still make a boss that any Mario veteran will be able to look at and understand how to fight. (Or whether to fight or RUN).
And this might be an unpopular opinion, but I don't think bosses are always all that great of a concept in games anyway.

^ I played a SMW hack that had 100-second urgent rooms with goal tapes instead of bosses (This Hack Needs A Name), in the castles. It felt really out of place, but it is slightly more original than the default bosses I guess.
Un-foreign-patriotic opinion: I don't get conscription. If someone wasnt planning to join the army anyways, why would you make them do it? I probably wouldn't be happy if I got 6 months of my life disrupted. This isn't a knock at anyone who would choose to, but I don't get why Finland would need so many people as to make them do it?

Sry to disagree but it's not religion who caused it. It's us humans who kill eachother etc.
Religion can't be blamed imo.

It can't be fully blamed, no. Really, a lot of issues are caused by many, many factors, more than we choose to think about. Religion can be and is a cause of numerous conflicts, and ignoring that fact is, well, ignorant.

Nah. It's just Islam and Catholicism that makes religion seem bad. The Buddhists aren't hurting anyone. You shouldn't generalize.

Insulting Fox News is like bullying the retarded kid. It's a waste of time, and is only fun the first time.

Yeah the belief system pumping into you ideologies from the time you're old enough to think, and capping it with fear of eternal torment can't be blamed for people going nuts. Any person can go nuts, but there's a key ingredient you need in order to kill entire groups of people for God.

You still want to deny what he says eh?
On-topic: I believe saying that marriage is between a man and a woman doesn't automatically make me bigoted towards homosexuals. (Throwing this out there because this is becoming unpopular in recent times)

Yes, but us humans are the ones that created the belief system ourselves. What proof do we have that god really exists. What definite proof from a scientific and religious standpoint show that god actually exists? We don't. We humans created this belief system to worship and to respect a figure head, who happens to be god. We do things to appease a concept of perfection.

It's not just "Islam" and "Catholicism." It's the people who take their religion into extremes in ANY religion. It's a huge mistake to call out and blame any specific religion or type of religion because you know that's going to offend even the quiet majority who wants nothing to do with the noisy minority that makes their religion look bad.

2000% true. Most, if not all religions have became violent at some point. Hell, there've been plenty of violent atheists as well. I think that the main reason that religion can be seen as causing violent conflicts is that it unites a large number of people under a single banner, all believing in the same cause that calls for the murder of others. Imagine a lone gunman who shoots up a school. He/she believes in a cause that drives them to murder.
The thing about religion, though, is that instead of one person believing in a cause, there are thousands and thousands of people believing in a single cause. And this is not only religion-specific. Wars between nations are fought by thousands and thousands of people believing in a cause, that, while not religious, still has the same effect.

Unpopular Opinion: Blast Ball, Federation Force, and Triforce Heroes all look like pretty decent games.
Also the petition to cancel Federation Force is one of the fucking stupidest things I've ever seen. I mean, really? Really?

It goes without saying that taking any religion to an extreme is a problem. What I'm saying here though is Islam and Catholicism in particular are damaging belief systems compared to others like Buddhism. I do hear what you're saying about the quiet majority, because I don't blame Catholics who just want to go to church on Sundays with their families for the pedophilia rings running in some churches, and I don't blame Muslims that are totally chill for any of the war games going on in the Middle East. The loud minority needs to be blamed for that since they're directly responsible. So I'll leave it at that because I don't want this thread derailed into a religious debate.

The stereotypical Christian is probably an middle aged American person who brings God and Jesus and the Bible into literally everything, even politics.
The stereotypical Christian Priest, however, is the Catholic type ones, I'd say.
