JK.
It's not appropriate, more so than usual because this site has a younger audience.

Okay, to provide some useful input... hm. Would it be possible to make
this text area red when newMessages > 0? It would definitely catch your eye easily.

I had to ban them one by one.
Gratitude is an emotion forbidden to express towards SMBX mods, I guess.

While it would be nice, I don't think that's actually possible in the version of phpbb we're using, unless it's possible through HTML editing or something like that, or is an addon, I don't think it's a possible change.

I could probably do that, actually. Not sure how it would look, though.

It would just be red :p
LOL random code for it :p
Code: Select all
a:visited{
color:red; font-family: (the font family you are already using.);
}
And that's pretty much it. Just remember it's css

a:visited only affects links you have visited, and that would change every visited link on the forum to red.
Forgive any bluntness here, but I wasn't exactly asking for help. I just don't know whether or not it would look good.

I wouldn't think a
neon bright red would work, something more like a
darker red would be easier on the eyes maybe.

Yeah, that'd probably be a lot nicer then something that is a fake pop-out :p Since red kinda pops out

I think this is still somewhat relevant to the thread.
I've officially been on the forums for a year! c:

why is there sooo much negativity here? what's the deal with that?
this thread (for example)
http://www.smbxgame.com/forums/v ... 6&start=50
say one thing and I get attacked - what happened to civil discussion?

Stop whining already.
Nobody attacked nor insulted you. When you say your viewpoints on an issue, not everyone will just automatically agree with you. They're going to provide a counterargument, and that's exactly what occurred.

I know people won't share the same viewpoint as me That isn't what this is about
It's to do with the fact you (and others) have a tendency to be a total ass about it. your response right now for example
"stop whining already"

Seriously. Give it a rest.
For being someone who is touting around that we're too serious, you sure are making a big deal out of problems that don't exist.

Because uh, whining is kinda what you're doing if you are making a pointless complaint in the site discussion thread that doesn't need a complaint.
Nobody is being an ass to you in that thread. Like I said, you're going to face counterarguments. If you don't want that, then don't post in a debating thread.

Let's make this the last post about this.
Palisade: Use the report button. If it's not worth it, it's probably not worth bringing up here either.

When did the avatar dimensions get lowered to 200x200? I noticed it some weeks ago but never mentioned it. I know it's called an avatar and not a wallpaper, but I feel it should be changed to at least, 250x250 mostly for images that aren't exactly meant to be avatars (such as mine) so it'll look better.
But it's up to you, it's not really an issue anyways, more of a nitpick. Just don't go back to the old dimensions, those dimensions were way too big, lol.

I changed it a few weeks ago, I think. I don't know if I want to extend it to 250x250 since that seems a little big.
Your avatar looks fine to me, for what it's worth. Unless I'm missing something.

Nah, nothings missing, it's just more easier to see the image itself when it's bigger. That's really the only reason why I would want the avatar dimensions to be bigger really, but it's also fine as is.
