I won't release 1.2 until the Red Yoshi version is out, just as Squishy said. Also am trying to correct stuff and of course, put graphics in. I already have downloaded and put in lots of stuff, and also made lots of stuff myself.

Yes, feel free to either PM myself or Murphmario with the download link, or simply leave the link here.

Bear in mind that the Red Yoshi edition that I'm working on, when released will be a replica of the NEW SMBX CGFX Pack, so nothing new will be added to the first release. This will be to ensure that keeping both versions somewhat up-to date with each other will be as close as possible in terms of contents. Plus with all the sorting that needs to be done with the Red Yoshi edition, trying to add more now will only slow its initial release.

replacement SMB2 Toad & Peach Playable.

I think unless some of my stuff hasn't been added to it yet, half of my RPGMAKER 2003 stuff (all of the map tiles and the scenery that must go with a few level icons as they are cut off without them), and my expansions to a few SMB 1, SMB 3, and SMW block sets, recolors of existing gfx (not necessary), my expansion to a lot of black squirrel stuff (missing angles, slopes, etc), My rainbow ? blocks (SMW) and a few others gfx I can't recall. I'll keep looking through it though to see what is missing.

I'll probably release a new GFX pack though soon when I get a chance.

I'm having trouble with the playable Sonic Character in part 2: I want to make the Sonic World Map character replace Mario, but it's not working; it's still Mario. How do I fix that?

Simply rename both the graphic and mask to "player-1" and "player-1m". They currently say "player-4" meaning they would essentially be customizing the graphics for the Princess Peach map character instead of Mario.
