How come emojis are not supported in flairs? Is there a glitch or something?

They are not meant to be at all?

Also welcome to the forums

Thanks Cedur. I tried to put an emoji in the flair box and hit submit again, but it just won't work, so I guess emojis aren't supposed to go there. They do work in the signature though. I'm not going to use it to spam emojis however, that's pointless.

I assume that when 2.0.0 is finished, the advertisement on this link https://www.smbxgame.com/ in the blue square for 1.3.0.1 will be replaced by advertisement for 2.0.0. (Pictures and text).

I would like to ask friendly whether that could happen.

The lower box where 2.0 is should be for the Xtech

@ MarioLover64: Thank you. :)

As far as I know, so far the advertisement for the latest official version of SMBX has replaced the up to then latest official version of SMBX in the blue square on the link you can see above.

Therefore I assumed that it will be the same with 2.0.0. :)

The "Looking for more episodes?" link should be redirected to the Episodes forum directly, as we don't want to use the featured episodes page anymore. Also that font could be made a bit larger

I am very new to this forum and somewhat new to SMBX, and I just have 2 questions.
1. When I try to change my avatar, the only option is to upload my own. I keep seeing other people with SMBX sprite next to their posts. How do I do this?
2. Is there a place where I can find mods or additional tilesets and NPCS?

1. These are ranks that change depending on how many posts you make. There's no way you can change them on your own.
2. viewforum.php?f=101, viewforum.php?f=31

speaking of avatars, yours looks quite familiar (8bluestorm also used it)

Yeah, it's an enemy from Kirby. I'm just using it as a placeholder until I find a better one. It's still pretty cool.

Enjl crossed 9,000 posts, what's the penultimate rank?

The last real rank is at 10,000 posts.

Briefly browsed the phpbb extensions index and found this:
https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/exte ... ile_flair/
Looks like a medals system. Could we have this? I'm thinking it might be fun to award podium placements in contests trophies in the future.

Fact: We already had this once in 2015 but it was removed in 2016 cause there were some site complications I think?

I do support this idea though.

Medals were lost from a version upgrade iirc? I joined later anyway so I never really missed them. Though some kind of new system could also spice up forum experience.

Oh, we had that one? I thought we had this one. The one I linked looks like it's still supported on current versions, so I wonder what complications there are.

It was this one viewtopic.php?t=10752 it’s five years ago so I don’t fully remember why exactly it ended and I haven’t gone through all of the pages there. But it would be nice to have it back.

I think we talked past each other. You meant medal systems as a whole, while I meant specific plugins that add this support. I'm well aware that we've already had *a* medal system once before and that it went away. I was asking if the one we had then was the same one I linked in my first post.
Anyway I did a bit of digging and... Version 1.0 of the one I initially linked seems to have its zip archive from 2017, so it seems to be a different one. Last updated in 2020, too, so it seems to be well-supported.
