If I remember correctly, I've had downloaded teascript SMB3 Hud mod from the 38A subforum in the PGE forums to get it work right, since it's the same thing. For the moaning, I think it can be stopped by not downloading the sound pack.

playing TGE9 till World 73, the levels were not boring at all (but then I had to stop because world 73-1 didn't unlock its exit path)

This reminds me of years back when Legend-tony980 claimed he would make a 50-world SMBX project with 500 levels. We used to laugh because it was such an absurd ridiculous number and it seemed like it would take years and years to complete. And yet, superbird111 is putting one of these bad boys out at least bi-annually. it's insane

guess what, in World 73 it happens for the second time that an exit doesn't work. I also can't fix it on the world map, even if I understood the "first exit / second exit / third exit" foolery
I went ahead to World 81 and added the stars I missed throughout the next levels, and since about World 85, the difficulty is becoming abysmal.

the biggest incentive is the big scores (star coins, ace coins, time bonus), you can get over 200,000 per world
and the levels used to be entertaining, until they all got overly brutal. I'll still patiently finish this though
and is there any info on the state of TGE10?
