There are already some new blocks. We're currently missing some capabilities we need to really make use of new blocks, but we have been making an effort to make some, and will keep doing so.Snessy the duck wrote:I think they're gonna do that when they find a way to extend the block arraykojimkj wrote:I think you guys should add more blocks =I
Especcialy a part of the Invasion 2 that I knocked off the spring accidentally and I had to restart the level all over again and lose a life.Tiger Festival wrote:Quick question: Is there any plans for Link to pull veggies and hold objects? It would make beating specific levels easier.
No. In fact, that's something 2.0 will likely never do. The reason for this is that one of the key aims of 2.0 is to retain full compatibility with all 1.3 levels. There are plenty of levels that require Link to not be able to hold objects, and so giving him this capability would break those levels, which is not something we are aiming for.Tiger Festival wrote:Quick question: Is there any plans for Link to pull veggies and hold objects? I'm not feeling him. He's just not one of my childhood heroes like Link and Mario.Hoeloe wrote:No. In fact, that's something 2.0 will likely never do. That said, the new character Uncle Broadsword is somewhat like Link version 2, and has a lot more features, including the ability to hold objects. I suggest you give him a try.
The Invasion 2 and The princess cliché both come quickly to mind. There are plenty others, but those 2 are the only ones I actually have.Tiger Festival wrote:I'm not feeling him. Can someone list down the episodes that have Link as well as the original cast playable?
Current version of Airship Attack 2 has link (though it is WIP).Tiger Festival wrote:I'm not feeling him. I haven't tried out Uncle Broadsword much, but one of his features is floating briefly, right? Maybe someone could make a costume for him that looks like some other character, maybe some version of Link. Surely there's some gear in the series that lets you float right?Tiger Festival wrote:I'm not feeling him. Couldn't you just have a level/episode-based tweaks.lua file that gives Link the ability to pull veggies/hold objects/ride Yoshi? I thought that was what the Lua Tweaks system was about.Hoeloe wrote:No. In fact, that's something 2.0 will likely never do. If the link to the download page in the first post wasn't enough of a hint: http://www.horikawaotane.com/smbxDevan2002 wrote:Does anyone know when this is to be released? Or is it, and I haven't downloaded it. I'm clueless either way.

What operating system do you have? This works best on Windows 10, or any Windows for that matter (except for XP and Vista).Devan2002 wrote:Even though I installed SMBX 2.0, I have found a major error where the program doesn't even open. Someone send help.
Please lets us know exactly what happens when you run "SMBX2.exe". If it produces an error message, then please show us that error message.Devan2002 wrote:Even though I installed SMBX 2.0, I have found a major error where the program doesn't even open. Someone send help.
When I try to open it, absolutely nothing happens. It doesn't open anything, it doesn't show an error message. Just absolutely nothing.Hoeloe wrote:Please lets us know exactly what happens when you run "SMBX2.exe". Have you tried increasing the resolution?Devan2002 wrote:When I try to open it, absolutely nothing happens. It doesn't open anything, it doesn't show an error message. I have the resolution at the highest setting by default. I only unzipped the folder called "data". (Well, it's all complicated)King of Eterity wrote:Have you tried increasing the resolution?Devan2002 wrote:When I try to open it, absolutely nothing happens. I think you should unzip the entire thing, otherwise it might not work!Devan2002 wrote:I have the resolution at the highest setting by default. I only unzipped the folder called "data". (Well, it's all complicated)King of Eterity wrote:Have you tried increasing the resolution?Devan2002 wrote:
