this makes no sense
I'm just saying it isn't an accurate portrayal of how people feel about this issue because there's many ways that you can cast multiple votes and throw off its liability.
And I agree with Valtteri: almost all of the ideas presented are way too extreme for the poll's "results"

It isn't an accurate portrayal of how people feel because you don't agree with the outcome. Strawpoll is a reliable website, and I'll have you know the poll was set to be protected from the same person casting multiple votes.
2 people and their baseless assertions < Everyone else with backed up arguments

AeroMatter wrote:The poll shows that of the 46 people that voted so far, 24 people do want those extreme solutions (or something similar and not those specific ideas) while 8 people don't and 14 want something changed. That's how people feel.
We can start with all of that and let people weigh in as we go.
Ok so the first option in the poll is one extreme (change nothing), the second one is the middle ground, and the three last options are the other extreme. What a wonderfully executed poll clearly for neutral research only.

It's two neutral options (option one and two) vs two extreme options (option three and four) and option five gauges how many people agree with me and my changes. For the people that want an overhaul or some serious changes, they might not agree with me but they still outweigh the other side. The conversation should now be how and what is going to be changed and in what way, not if anything is going to change at all. Please make a Global Announcement that with a follow up poll on whose plan is best. I'm willing to outline mine in detail as long as you're willing to justify the current system and why my plan is wrong, and we can go from there as people vote. The poll can be on here too if that makes such a big difference.

Then how did I cast two?

You posted from a different IP address. Which option did you pick?

Does it matter? You probably did the same and I'm sure other people did too

I didn't, and it actually does matter.

Ah yes, the great comeback where you try to shame the other person as well instead of actually defending yourself.

Those are some really extreme solutions.
I can think of a change.
Level judges should review the oldest levels first, to prevent levels from staying in limbo for months.

where does this difference come from

First, level judges should review the oldest levels first, to prevent levels from staying in limbo for months.
Second, how about if a level judge doesnt review at least 2 levels every 3 weeks, they are demoted and a new judge takes their place. If they only review 6 levels or less in 3 months, they are also demoted and another person takes their place.
Feel free to point out the flaws in this.
Don't forget that level judges have lives to live as well and can't spend it all on reviewing levels. And also, as Enjl pointed out, where is this new judge going to come from? They can't just put in a random guy as a stand-in only to find they're a bad reviewer - it'll just make problems worse.

Discard my second proposal as it makes absolutely no sense and will make things way more difficult than need be.

You're keeping all of the inefficiencies and flaws of the current system, and suggesting a change that likely won't be enforced.
Linik wrote:Don't forget that level judges have lives to live as well and can't spend it all on reviewing levels.
They're not that important, they can do their job or not apply to begin with.

Part of what we do is moderate (in the Levels, Projects, and Episodes forums)...
Forgive me for bringing up something old but, please sir... you misunderstand the type of moderation current LJs have.
As a former LJ I know way before you did(and trust me on this, i said the same thing as you here) but no one considers LJs as mods in any way. The only reason you have any mod privleges is so you can move levels after you have reviewed them and lock topics that dont have any content on said level.
When it comes to actually moderating the area that falls under the job of the GMods and Admins and it isnt really your job to moderate as they would since you are mainly just the position you are so you dont need to ask Mods to move levels for you or any such thing.
So yeah man... sorry to burst your bubble but LJs have like.. no power that way.. if thats what you were thinking

It may have been like that back then, but you've got to admit that times have changed. The GMs are less active now and the LJs deal with all moderation of the Projects, Episodes, and Levels forums. If our only job was to move and lock levels, why would we have full moderating capabilities for moderating Projects and Episodes too? On the Board Index, it also states that the moderator of Levels, Projects, and Episodes are LJs

Level judges have "moderating power" over these specific forums.
Moderating power means: Power to move, delete and lock topics and posts. It does not affect the position of power beyond that.
Nowhere else is any actual power of level judges implied. Even the group name goes against the idea. The reason global moderators are "less active" in the forums moderated by level judges is that level judges constantly butt in because they also get the reports.
By removing the requirement to move levels and leaving locking to the gmods we can get rid of this delusion.
