you can make the slopes look like stairs.

this is something i have been working on recently
it's called "halloween Hallows Tileset" and is pretty much just an autumn tileset with pumpkins

that looks very nice and the slopes don't look bad at all. I can see why some people would think so because it's still in its sprite sheet format, but when imported, everything should work out nicely.
