Guys I'm not the Sheriff claimer. If I had been mindlessly claiming I'd have done that with Witchking or maybe Sanct, but not Zeldamaster. And if I had two lucky inspections with the result of red, I'd rather claim publicly and ask the doctor or nurse to protect me. And wouldn't the real sheriff or the deputy counterclaim the claimer in some way if this happened? (and the chances of the sheriff finding 2 reds is about 1 to 9, which isn't as low as you make it out to be) I'd also like ZM to clarify that I haven't claimed to him.

I'm just a vanilla townie and I started a bandwagon against Electriking since he most likely wasn't going to contribute as much and we didn't really have other leads. (and I didn't want to discourage Noodle with lynching him off that soon since he's a newcomer) And there is also the fact that there is forced lynching even on D1 (which is almost never going to turn out well) so I dun think that risking a kitb or a baseless death of mech would have been good for us nor chasing off a newcomer with lynching them on D1.

Also I'd like to mention that Megar was one of the first to agree and jump on the bandwagon and according to the sheriff claimed he flipped red. If he really flips red, then that'd mean that the sheriff was most likely telling the truth about Sanct as well. So, I am putting a vote on Megar for now.

This does make me a lot less suspicious of you, the entire not-enjoying the game thing does explain the abnormalities on discord. And it also makes sense now that you properly explained why you started a bandwagon against KoE. So I am changing my vote to Megar. Also, I'm sorry if this vote switching makes me look horribly suspicious. I just really don't know what to do with this game.

Hold up
I didn't 'jump on the bandwagon'
I was actively discussing it on the Discord, and then when we agreed on it I just happened to be the first to vote
Don't you all bullshit me

Oh sorry then my bad,
But I mean you still supported it and I'm almost sure that the sheriff claimer is Noodle and I doubt he'd fake claims as a newbie and lie about the inspection results.

That seems to make alot of sense now, I may as well vote for Megar too.

Also, if Megar comes up red, I think the sheriff claimer can be trusted which also means we could lunch sanct on day 3 since he's red too

One letter can sometimes make a lot of difference.

Megar. While he's a cool guy and i hate to vote there's really no arguing against a turned-up-red inspection. Like I said, I'd much rather bite the bullet though to find out if the sheriff is legit.

SSX is indeed NOT the claimer and I really think you guys are going after the wrong guy. If you guys vote Megar and he flips red, then this will confirm if the person I'm in contact with is legitimate or not.

After looking over everything on more time, I'll have to change my vote to Megar.

Actually I'm quite sure if megar is the right choice now.

Quick reminder that Spinda wrote a pretty good post elaborating on why there's a big chance this couldn't work
Spondo wrote:I wouldn't go with ZM's lead. There's far too many ways this could go wrong: ZM may be Mafia and then claim the the alleged Sheriff was somebody else, the Sheriff may be fake and wants to get ZM and Megar killed, or maybe the Sheriff is Mafia and Megar is being bussed. The Mafia is quite powerful in this game and has two vanillas to spare, and unless the Sheriff got killed N1 CCs won't happen.

And aside from maybe potentially lynching a Mafia, there's not much to be gained as far as information goes. If Megar is red, the Sheriff is maybe confirmed to one player that may also be Mafia; and the claim itself may still have been faked and Megar was bussed.
If Megar were green, then either ZM or the Sheriff claim are Mafia, which isn't all that comcrete either.

And lastly, why now? One idea I have is that maybe Electriking is a powerful Mafia role and the Mafia want to stop the lynch at all costs, potentially sacrificing a vanilla in the process. As such, if KoE cardflips red I'd be suspicious of the Sheriff or ZM. The Mafia may not have known if KoE would have been back in time.
Also SSX is actually behaving kinda strange, while I do not have evidence for this entirely other than I'm in a discord group with him, he does seem more panicky than usual

Good morning everyone, I am just waking up to vote [volor=#FF0000]Megar[/color] again since I was the only one to vote him yesterday, and I am apparently the last to vote for him today. Why do phase changes happen just minutes or an hour after I go to sleep? Anyway, bye-bye Megar!

Well, it looks like SSX makes one defense post that looks good on his side, and now you're all about to trust the sheriff claim to be legit and think that there's nothing off about SSX. You're playing a 50/50 game imo. Nothing is safe and you're taking a risk in both directions.

I agree with Cedur, I'm honestly shocked that you guys had a change of heart so quickly. I dunno, just seems like a very sudden shift of public opinion

One of those risks is worth it if we want to know for sure whether this Sheriff is legitimate or not. Which one would you rather take, a risk that could potentially lead to nowhere if SSX is town or a risk to potentially lynch off someone who could very well be Mafia, along with confirming the Sheriff claimer?

I am not changing heart, and I do suspect ShadowstarX, but I was the first to vote for MEgar about 48 hours ago. I just wake up late.

Well, I for myself would only take the risk if I can lean towards trusting the claimer, but only because he decided to privately claim to you, I can't trust him yet. You know who the claimer is, I don't.

and as of now it looks like he's gonna be lynched anyway.
