I worked on it a bit more and this is what I came up with:

@Emral: Looks awesome, I feel a lot more inspired to make levels now! Still don't know what it is supposed to be though.

@Blue greed: Nice background. It appears to be turning pretty damn great, no doubt, it's a great piece of work considering it's your very first background. Keep up the good work, looking forward to more stuff.

@Natsu: It's supposted to be based off of the MK8 incarnation of the DS Tick Tock Clock Track
@Bluegreed: Having higher trees in the background either suggests that they're the same size as the front line trees and on a small hill OR that they're larger and a bit wider to match with the front line.

@Emral: Nice, looks awesome. A bit flat in my opinion. You should maybe make a custom pattern for the inside of the tileset. Also, what are those column-like things that come out of the fill on the left of your spritesheet?

I've posted a previous version of this a month-ish ago. Decided to work on it again. Currently going to finish and expand my current WIPs for a possible update on my GFX pack which won't take 42 months to finish. Got holidays too so that's convenient. Thoughts?

Another WIP from a month ago! This one originated as a dirt tileset and I just turned it into a desert one.

Nice. I like the pattern on the sand one. And like I said before, I still don't like the pattern on the dirt one, it don't think it shall fit for a desert level.

I thought about simplifying it a bit as it indeed does look a bit too detailed for what I'm doing with it. I'd like to keep the diagonal dirt movement though.

Nice greek tileset btw. You should make a gyros sub-tileset and background objects for food levels
