Nowadays that IMNBH4L was demoted all of my levels get in pretty good.
Wait a minute, When did I insult his levels? I just said they have immature names.

It's the level itself that counts. I have nothing against his level names because they are a stretch from the alliteration day after day.

Didn't Joey get pissed off at the level name as well? He wanted to change it.

I agree with tnt, you can call a level anything you want as long as the level is good.

Is it so hard to ask for a little professionalism in this contest? The fact someone entered a joke level just to compete is annoying. Its like putting a mute kid into American Idol just to do it.

Aside from a few uninspired people throughout contest history (Quill, glitch4, Kep) it usually tends to be the same offenders. Most decent people don't post joke levels. as303298 has a really good point. I find ElTipsta's weird names tenfold more mature than a downright shit joke level.

Usually, it tends to be those who have been in the community for more than a year and understand how it works that are the ones that submit the joke levels.

Among the most famous joke levels like Cool Hills and Amateur Lands, they are just satire. Cool Hills succeeds in this regard. You can be distracted by the sloppy design and BGO placement, but the real joke is that the level's meant to be a poke at NameUser/Ignoritus, who was hosting the contests at the time. When you enter the second section, you'll hear his voice, taken from one of his LPs.

As for the effortless shit, then Block Bollocks says hi.

Ok 1....your signature mesmerizes me every time I look at it. Whatever that raccoon thing is..it must be stopped before it rules the world with its dancing.
2. Just because the same people submit a joke doesn't make it any more justifiable to keep doing it. That the same as "eye for an eye", but now we see the end result of that phrase...we're blind. That one concept is what makes it difficult to play these games, unless balance conditions are put in once the Tower is made, because people cant take it seriously. I remember when everyone tried their hardest to compete, now its broken into 4 groups.

-1 The select few who actually tried to make a unique level
-2 The useless joke level submitters
-3 New fellahs who are competing to have some fun and present an honest-to-god good level (and this was the point of the contest mind you.)
-4 People like me, who submit challenging levels to invoke ideas and present new gimmicks.

IMO, the second group should be removed. If joke levels are presented by the same people each year, perhaps we should disregard their next submission if its such a repeated offense.
