Yeah, I am. You are still in tier 2 and there isn't a lot of difference there if your place change of 1.

Hi I'm back from making content to talk more about judging.

To liken it to something more relative, judging based on opinions is like me banning people based on my opinion on them. I mean sure, you can't be impartial to the point of a perfect logical machine, but why can't one stay his hand and refrain from taking/giving points when he goes, "Well this is what I think." Your rationale is that that's what you think, not, that's what's good in a game, or, that's the way you entertain people, it's a lazy answer.

Oh and, if you think giving reviews to an official contest shouldn't be as serious as moderating this forum, then, should you really be a judge for this contest? (Don't say yes because it's tower of biased. Humor me.)

Its more being honest. Saying the same thing without saying "this is my opinion" would be worse, because it would seem like a "my opinion is the only right opinion" attitude.

I say it's the opposite. I don't see that happening if the guy straight out says "this is my opinion". If anything, that sounds more like an assumption instead of a logical conclusion.

It depends what it is, as some things are a lot more subjective than others. But honestly, I agree with krazykat. Saying "this is my opinion" signifies that you are expressing what you believe to be true, but are also regarding the fact that it is your opinion and others may or may not agree. Saying the statement without including that would make it sound like any other answer would be wrong.

None of the above. In that case, chances are that you and the judge have different opinions. If the judge is commonly considered wrong, then there's a reason.
If it's just one person, it's probably butthurt.
