If you'd clicked the link, you'd know that that is what all GPUs are labelled if you don't have drivers installed. Microsoft doesn't make the card, but they DO have a generic driver that allows your graphics card to function in a limited way. Until you install your graphics drivers, you won't be able to use most of its features.

I don't like that 2.0 changed the graphics for the unactivated switch blocks. Now a bunch of the graphics in my episode are broken because of this. Is there any chance that could be reverted back?

Which ones do you mean? The character switches?

Not only character switch blocks, but also generally on/off switch blocks - if they're off, the "!" is transparently visible, which hasn't been the case before

Huh. I wasn't aware of that specific change. It was probably done to make them more in line with the character switch blocks, which require those icons inside them.

The more likely scenario is that there's a black ! in the center because someone recoloured them without including a mask. I don't think the black ! is that big of an issue.

I was specifically referring to the non-player switch blocks. I thought the goal was compatibility with earlier versions and that doesn't seem to be happening here. When I recolour something and it has the same mask as the vanilla object, there's no reason to have to add a mask. This will make older episodes and levels look off that used the old versions

Hey Horikawa. I had SMBX 1.4 but I wanna really try the SMBX 2.0 Beta 3 thing as everyone's playing it now. Problem is I can't download from MEGA and Google Drive. (I had to use DownThemAll to get it cuz bad internet, but when I did it was corrupted)

Could you upload it on another mirror 3 to Wohlstand's server (where 1.4 is posted), and probably mirror 4 where you can host the game on Horikawa Otane's website? Also, can you create a version of SMBX 2.0 without the pre-built episodes so I can download it faster?

The pre-built episodes don't make much of a file size difference since the included episodes are mostly vanilla. Also, the pre-installed episodes are necessary to make the Mario Challenge work better.

Not sure if this has been already listed, but I've found this strange bug involving Mega Man. I've found out at some points it may be impossible to gain the effects of powerups that are obtained later, thus making you stuck with the one you've got. For example, let's say you have a Fire Flower and you come across a Leaf. You may be able to collect the Leaf and it disappears, but you're still stuck with the abilities of the Fire Flower. Is there any fix to this?

For some reason, I can't open any episode or the launcher.

Press Select/Shift. This opens Megaman's weapon select menu, where you can swap between all the powerups you've collected.

Is there a simple way to test a level? F5 gives me an error message. Something about a "thread". :(

"Thread currently busy"? That pops up when you hit F5 but the game is still loading and you hit F5 again. Wait a bit and the window should open. On my pc it sometimes takes a few seconds, sometimes a minute.

Oh, okay. Thanks! I was too impatient. It takes 1 and a half minute for me. I guess this is alright.

I can't open my luna tester, it just says SMBX has stopped working when I try to.

Try hitting "Terminate" if need be. This is why I never close the test window unless I close PGE. (Also, it takes five minutes, so yeah...)

I don't really want to ask about future plans, but I'm really curious about this...are there any plans to add a Belmont as a playable character?

I'm not sure how making new characters or even modifying existing characters properties works. Like, could Link's attack "damage box" have the range of a whip like in Castlevania?

NVM guys, I successfully downloaded the game! (BTW there are no graphics for Mega Man flying when he uses Tanooki Suit. I tested this with the wingman cheat)
These new characters are fun to experiment with, I tested them on all of my old levels.

Also someone should really make a cheat code list for SMBX 2.0. I cannot find the cheat code that lets me change into Klonoa, since I'm testing this character in my old levels.
