In Mario Marker they use them to look like ferris wheels but as fire bars of course. I wanted to recreate this in SMBX as it would be cool to have spinning wheels of death made from fire bars. Some of these wheels have a short lengthed firebar used and others seem to be much bigger wheels. I'm hoping these "grafs" will allow me to do just that.
If you can depict something using a parametric function, you can do it with a Graf.

With parametric functions it's quite easy, with x=sin(t), y=cos(t). Even without those it's possible, using y=cos(asin(x)).

I bet a lot of us aren't going to use Grafs in interesting ways due to hating high-school math. (Which I think does not include me, by the way.)

Maybe they'll include pre-made movement options for the grafs so that newbie people could use it effectively.
not that i'll use them cuz i'm actually good at math *laughs maniacally*

Well, you also forget that a significant part of our userbase hasn't even reached high school yet.

I forgot to ask but, will costume change become a thing for the overworld like character switching? It'll be very convenient to change costumes on the field. It could be done as simply hold L then press left or right or something along those lines.

Is there anyone that is very dedicated to this project and working on it almost every day? Those people that are should get a special thanks from everyone here at the forums for keeping this project alive and making our dreams of the ultimate Mario Maker come true. I for one an thankful to everyone that has put their precious time into this project. While progress seems very slow right now it is definitely worth the wait from what the progress update videos are showing. Keep up the good work everyone.

hey Teemster2, given your activity in the thread and your interest for SMBX2, you should join Discodehaus

I thought you needed a mic for that? I use a laptop and have no mic or any program that allows for talking to other people with or without video and I don't want to start that up. I can do forums and chat rooms. I did check Discodehaus but never signed up. Thanks for the offer though.

1. Codehaus, not Discodehaus.
2. Discord is primarily a text-based program. You don't need a mircrophone to communicate with others there, in fact most people on codehaus in particular don't even use the voice chat.

Thanks for clearing that up. I backed out last time when I thought voice chat was required. Maybe I will give it a try when I have more time.

Honestly please get some patience. The devs are working hard to ensure a lot of high quality features that work well for Beta 4 and we're waiting on tech including an editor rewrite. The projection for the release has been mentioned many times and noted as being during the first quarter of 2018 and afaik that hasn't changed

Ok I have a question about Wario
What exactly is his shoulder charge supposed to do?
I've tried hitting enemies and blocks with it, but nothing happened

I was going to post a gif I just made of Wario shoulder charging through SMB3 breakable bricks, but I can't seem to find a way to do it here or elsewhere. But he can bash through SMB3 breakable bricks at least.

Have there been any Updates to 2.0 since I last played back in June? Any lists on new features for Beta 4?

I'd really like SMW Cape Feather in B4

what would it be useful for? Raccoon leaf already provides the spinning attack and flying with cape feather is a thousand times more tricky and less smoother than flying with the leaf.
