I honestly don't see simplistic. It's very graphically busy, excessive enemy variety, etc. If you mean simple in terms of difficulty, remember that it's relatively late-game and should probably be a bit tough and not have a large difficulty curve throughout the level as it is part of an episode

Now with more enemies! And scratch the simplistic part--it's not simplistic at all

Looks good, though at some places it looks a little bland. Mayby add some more question mark blocks / coins? Some more slopes at the end would be neat too.

Is it allowed to have star collectibles in your level? I want to know because I am thinking of having one in my level, and no where in the rules does it say you can't have one.

Here you go, there's some more coins and ? Blocks. Plus, I added a couple slopes in the end.

Nice! It's starting to look a lot better than the first screenshot!

Does the level have to have a specific ending? or can you just choose?
Also, here's some progress on 5-3:

I have a flagpole exit in my level. It's a custom graphic, in Sednaiur's SMB1 Extended GFX Pack. That's what I recommend using.
A bonus room
Another part of the level
Yet another part of the level

First off here: he is using the SMW style so using an SMB1 flagpole wouldn’t look good. Second: it’s not a real flagpole... Spinda made the functional one. Third: you can use any exit other than SMB3 star exit

The intention afaik is to use a custom flagpole NPC as an exit which will be added when possible

I can make it look good, since I can use the "no auto align" function of PGE to place it 1 or 2 pixels next to the pole BGO.
Also, here's some progress on 5-3:
The SMW bullet bills, koopas and hard blocks clash with the SMB1 tileset.

When there's an NPC made it will almost surely be peaceable as a single object, not just the flag. It also doesn't exist yet (in full) so don't worry about compensating for it yourself

I think it looks fine honestly.

The tileset is a recloured version of the SMW grass tileset with the SMB2 Bombable block as a base, using SMW palettes and slightly edited by me. How does it clash?

Oh :/
I didn't really know that. There isn't any clash then.

Yo guys, I don't want to be impatient but how the things are fucking going? I can't wait to play this episode, when it will be in the episodes? I've seen some great screenshots up there and I think you are doing such an awesome work. Have a good one.

I did 1-1 and 1-2 just for kicks for my fiance and myself to play. If you guys are interested in me contributing it to the project, I am more than glad. She is having me do a bunch of worlds for her own ends.
