ok so a proper introduction is probably in order

Hello, I am LAT and I do pixel stuff mostly. You might recognise me from the talkhaus or some other communal hole somewhere on the internet. I have >0 experience with level-making in SMBX (got second to last place in MAGLX2, I know, a commendable feat) but I think I'm starting to get the hang of the whole deal. What led me to this place is the 2k15 Summer Takeover, which Horikawa referred me to because she was in it. Anyway, I repeat, hi.

That moment when horikawa advertises your episode on the talkhaus
(technically marina's and mine but then the sentence wouldn't look as cool)

Anyways, nice to have you here!

Hey all, long time fan of SMBX. I found it very early (Super Mario Flash was what I used originally as a kid), when there was few around on the forums. I actually never signed up until around the point Redigit shut the forums down the first time. I don't remember my exact age, but I was pubescent, so you could imagine the issues that caused. I posted one level in my time there (which was trash) and received some bad reviews (because I had little editing and design ability then) and became very defensive. I watched SMBX grow and seemingly die (until I saw other forums pop up to keep the community alive), I even lurked Knuckles forums for some time. I recently started playing again and found this site, so here I am.

I tried making another level recently, it was thrown together no less. I am 18, about to head into college here next semester and am planning to head into Graphics Design. I'm probably better at that than level design, but I'm more than capable of reviewing levels. I have played virtually every Mario game you can name (except super mario land, because that game is strange to me). I've played plenty of custom levels as well, so I get the gist of good design.
I look forward to rejoining the SMBX community and find other enthusiasts like me.

My favorite Mario game of all time is between SM64, Sunshine, and Galaxy. It's hard to choose...
I know level design, but I'm on of those people that have a hard time keeping the ideas flowing, I get stuck at times. I'd be more than happy to make some stuff with other people online, just shoot me a message. I'm looking to start a project and make a custom episode, most on my own. I'm sure when I settle into the community I could get others help.

I am aware I am extremely inactive, and I'm pretty sure nobody has noticed it, although I have been a part of this community since April of 2011, with a couple of name changes. College is a virtue, but damn you don't get smack for free time. But hey, being on these forums and designing Mario Games and levels was not only for fun, but inspired me to attend the college or whatever you call I am at today, Full Sail! Here I am taking classes in art and game design. I will try my best to be active again, I may seem dead inactive, but I am actually working on a project (for fun) as I type this. But like I said, free time is a rare thing, but it can be found and put to good use.

So, hi...

Please don't tell me you went to a college for main art out of all things

Nah, there's some for practice, but it's mostly art for video games and likewise. I'm actually getting good at it.v

Yo, I'm Rai.
Wondering where my name comes from?
As people usually guess, no it's not Raiden - it's Raidein.
It's the thunder attack in Dragon Quest games - my name is usually RaideinSlash which is a reference to a specific Dragon Quest manga. See if you can guess.

Here's a bit about me - My name is Liam, I like the color blue and I watch anime, read manga and sometimes draw my own. Also, video games. In the SMBX community I develop levels and create sprites. To this day I'm still looking for a good starman script. So yeah, hi.

Somebody made a good starman script once, but I don't have the link. Welcome to the forums!

My Name is Nightmayor and I've been part of the SMBx community for a while just not as active. I'm in the middle of a collaboration project with a friend who used to be here a long timee ago.
I'm planning on having the project be episodic and if things go smoothly I plan to release Episode 1 of this project tomorrow.
