I'm loving Wario recently. He's incredibly fun. His bike is just too much, and swallowing projectiles is awesome.

Getting used to Rosalina, and its about damn time. I've been wanting to use her from the start.

On topic, I recently enjoyed playing Ness. He seems like a cool character to use and might become ny Secondary.

I watched a tournament and the last two were LoF NAKAT and Nairo, or at least that was the round. Nairo was maining Dark Pit and Robin, NAKAT had Ness and Diddy Kong. It was pretty interesting. Thoron was used pretty good.

I got the Wii U version on Saturday and I fucking love this game. My favorite mode gotta be 8 Player Smash. I usually play as Kirby or Little Mac :P

Oh yeah, I've said it elsewhere but my NNID is coolJohn.

I picked up the Wii U version of this yesterday and all I can say is holy shit.

I thought the WiiU version would be great but there are two major flaws that bug me.

First, I was expecting I could just pick up the Gamepad and jump right in and use just about the same controls as the 3DS version. NOP THE STUPID SIDE TRIGGERS ARE NOTHING LIKE THE 3DS'S

Secondly I can't use my 3DS as a controller anywhere I want to. I thought I'd be able to switch comfortably whenever I want to do whatever I want.

Looks like Event mode is going to be the hardest thing for me since I CAN'T REACH THE START BUTTON WHILE HOLDING THE A BUTTON CDKJLFCDSJKFKD.SMCF;/

you can customise your copntrols to be like the 3DS (that's why I did), and afaik you should be able to use the 3DS as a controller everywhere.
Also, get a good controller like the Gamecube Controller (if you manage to get the adapter lol), Wii U Pro Controller or Classic Controller Pro.

I tried, but it'll only let you do it in Smash mode. Basically you can't do it for Classic, because the menus I was shown wouldn't let me.

I've actually lost my hand at using a Gamecube controller, and I don't have either of those other ones.

Also, I'm starting to get a hand for the Gamepad, so I guess it's not the end of the world. The first event's reward was making me rage though because of Bowser's fire breath, and I had to repeatedly no contest, but every time I had to stretch my fingers it made me feel even more frustrated lol.

Well, since both Walmart and Gamestop had no copies, I had to order Smash 3DS off of Amazon. Hopefully it arrives soon.

But event mode won't let you change your name because it doesn't bring you to the character select screen if you're not doing the ones that don't let you "choose." Plus I don't really see the point of how the game says whether the fighter you're forced to use is customized or not because it's not like I've seen any that are customized.
