Certain petty little things in SMBX will cause crashes like mushrooms falling in lava, entering the pipe that shares a Venus Fire Trap, and I believe after a certain scene, the game won't recognize CGFX. I'm sure there's a whole list of errors somewhere on this forum.

You'll have to be more specific as to what causes the errors and explain the entire situation to get some more useful help than mine, though.

I downloaded the game from mediafire and I get an error each time I load it up.Do i need to be using an emulator or do I need to download it from another website?Please help

You don't need an emulator to download SMBX, and you download it on the front page.

It won't let me run the .exe file

Could you make a mac version? I am using a mac and am trying to get it to work with wine.

Mac version exists for PGE (smbx-compatible toolkit: editor and experimental engine part), SMBX has Windows only built.
You need the vb6run and vc2013 runtime. I recommend you downloand smbx package from LunaLUA download page (choice the full instalation and completr standalone game), and SMBX will not be frozen on loading. http://engine.wohlnet.ru/LunaLua

rycream, the Super Mario Show has nothing to do with SMBX 1.3.0.1. If you wish to talk about it, please do so in the Sandbox forum. You've done this in the Graphics forum as well. The next time this happens, warnings will be getting handed out.

This download does not work. Don't you have alternative downloads? Can't you host it on your own page or an alternative download? Very frustrating.

Damn why do i have so much lag and bugs in this version 1.3 version rules but only thing good in 1.3.0.1 is music and sound fix(hd versions).
Can you people please tell me what do i have to do to fix my lag in this version?

SMBX 1.3.0.1 techincally is SAME smbx 1.3 with NO changes. The true fixed and bit improved version is here:

Check "Full installation" and then check "Include complete standalone base game (if you wants a separated SMBX game)", then click "SMBX 1.3", and click "Download". Than version have more fixes than actual SMBX 1.3.0.1.

Note: if you will have problems with music (too fast playback), please run this script from worlds folder and try to play episodes again

In all honesty, I recommend that you upgrade your machine and OS to a 64 bit platform anyway because it will allow for more ram usage in programs and such. In this day and age, why are you still using 32bit? 64 really is the better way to go. Do yourself a favor. Also, anything 32 bit will work on 64 bit but not vice versa so there's that.
