Honestly, if PlatGEnWohl was compatible with VSMBX we would have SMBX 2.0. However, I'm waiting for the engine of Wohlstand's project and for this to be completed as well.

GhostHawk started doing this first.
Wohlstand has actually been doing this since around December 2013, dunno about GhostHawk.

You have to realize though, that both projects are technically quite different along with their smaller goals.

VSMBX was around for years. I remember seeing videos of it in early 2013.

So Ghosthawk, since you have only 5 things left to program and Vsmbx has matched Smbx, Punch per punch, are you open to getting feature requests?(No I'm NOT going to ask for starman if you are, I know it is a programing nightmare)

actually i think its moreso possible in vb.net, .net framework is alot easier to work with. worst case scenario, make the star man sprites seperate from the regular sprites.

Well, my suggestions were gonna be;
Spoiler: show
-Use the Smb1 Starman sprite to add another star
-Be able to choose weather the star lets you continue or ends the level
-Add the flagpole as an exit
- When his project is playable, release it as an engine on http://rpgmaker.net/
But it all depends on if he is ready to take requests yet.

Like how XerX and supermariobros (I think that is what his name is) tried to make NSMB:R. - Once they said they are making one (in a thread) a whole lot of pep's flooded the thread with ideas.

Very polite sir, there is nobody as classy and considerate as you... #Sarcasm

However, I simply gave suggestions to Ghosthawk, I don't expect him to implement them(If ever) Till a LONG time from now, not internet time REAL time, I understand he has something called a life, just like the rest of us. In addition, I did not post my ideas in the spirit of "YOU GOTTA DO THIS!!!!11!!!!1111! EVERY1 WIL B MAD @ U IF U DNT!!!@2@@@@!" it was just friendly suggestions that (IMHO) would make his version better than the original Smbx
