I would say it would be any Nickelodeon cartoon/sitcom, grew'd up with those rather than any of those "battle royale" games.

I quite like cartoons which are light-hearted but also have darker or more serious undertones. A really good show such as this is a short series called "Over the Garden Wall." It was made by the makers of Adventure Time and is quite a good series.

Steven Universe is my fav. Not only do I like it, but I wasn't interested in watching anything else when I got to it.

Steven Universe is the only cartoon I watch so it's that by default.

Let's bump this
Gotta say it's Miracles from Heaven (it's not any sacred/religious story, okay?). Just read its plot and you'll see why I like it so much. It even says at the end it's "based in real life" which definitely surprised me
Also 1600 posts yes

I don't really know what my favorite movie is, but I like ones that are deep and meaningful, yet are entertaining at the same time.
Think of it as EarthBound in movie form.

It's like the people of HBO wanted to appeal to the retro otaku audience, HBO Max (The streaming app made by HBO themselves) is gonna have some of the classical Ghibli films available for streaming (In US, not sure about the other countries)!
Not joking, Click here for proof!
So if any of ya SMBX members loved the classical retro Ghibli films, then go crazy in a happy way! ^_^"

Bump!
Holy Shit! I got some news for y'all! I heard on Twitter that the Powerpuff Girls is getting a crappy Live-Action series on CW!
What's next, a live-action series of Ed, Edd 'n Eddy *?!? I don't wanna live to see that day!
*I'm sure that show is IMPOSSIBLE to do a live-action series of, since there's so much cartoon violence!

I'm kind of curious to see how this remake looks, it might not actually be all that bad

I'd figured I'll go bump this thread with some sad news, and so new SMBX members * can contribute to this topic.
[Adult Swim] had just cancelled "The Venture Brothers" after its 17 year, 7 season lifespan. Heard about this on Twitter.
*Those who are old enough to watch [as]....

Bump because why not
So far, my favorite is The Conjuring. I heard The Exorcist is creepy as hell so it's probably going to be become my favorite once I watch it (I know it's an old one but... I've just not watched it yet)
(yes, the scarier, the better for me)

Perfect Blue by a long shot. I absolutely love how that movie (and a lot of works of Satoshi Kon in general) blends reality and fiction together.
