The problem with making it static is what if you have multiple desktops? How are you going to define which one? Are you always updating the same one? That can't be good if you want to improve your code later.XerX wrote:I swear I'm fun at parties.Spoiler: show

..you don't need to return MyDesktop. making it static just means you can access the method throughout any class. if you have multiple desktops, add an argument as to which desktop and reference that instead.
