Because not everything is a joke or minor. Something like this should be taken seriously for the well being of the forums, you as the admin is not taking our consideration into heart.
also I made an edit to my post earlier, check it out.

I think you guys should take a quick look through the old introductions forum right now and look at a handful of threads (just down the line) and just see how familiar they all look. There's no need for an introduction forum like that, post count enabled or disabled, because it's the same comments for every user. I'd expect the forum would go back to it's old way, whether or not the staff placed in new rules or not, just like the graphics requests forum.

Why are posts like that worth posting?

Apart from showing you've joined the community, they're not really, and even then that's barely even a decent reason. We've reduced a whole forum to one single topic that still serves the same purpose. Plenty of forums use this style of introductory for new users, I don't really see an issue with it when it still works exactly the same.

If you literally introduce yourself with "hi im marifan1234 and I like mario" no one really gains something from it. If there's less attention given to these stock posts and more towards the introduction posts that actually introduce the user, imo I don't see the problem. Every user that posted more than a line got at least some reaction to him, like Rawr recently.

Why does nobody understand thats it's better to have 1 thread for all the introductions instead of a hundred topics without any content in them? Most of them had 0 replies only veteran got up to 2 pages.

We're not bringing back the introductions forum and I think that's all the discussion that needs to happen on that.
