I think it will be, since it's more of an original concept unlike the 150 or so Disney princesses or Fast and Furious 345.8. Taking on some of the biggest and most well-known arcade games is a very big pair of Kuribo Shoes to fill, so if they don't get it right, there will be a lot of hate being thrown around or directed at Sony. It's a risky venture, but if they actually think about what they're doing they'll get it right.
I'm pretty sure there was another movie based on a video game, I don't remember exactly what it was, but I do recall another one.
Also there will be a Warcraft movie, that's in the works, and that's based off of a video game, though I supposed it has a lot more lore that can be used as opposed to arcade games. Hmm, not entirely sure if I want to see Pixels or not.

When you've got no-one to love I completely agree with Valentine's Day, quite frankly it is completely depressing. Although technically April Fool's is pointless I remember I used to be quite the trickster when I was younger, and boy was it great. Unfortunately, like most holidays/ whatever April Fool's Day comes under, it too has lost the magic it once had.

April Fools probably will never lose its magic for me. It gives me an excuse to be crude or trickster-ish in good fun without being punished, which is the consequence of those actions on any other day. April Fools gives me excuses to pull clowny shit.

That didn't specifically come to my mind because I forgot about that movie strangely, but yeah, that was one of them, I could have swore there was another though.
