Yeah, I did this too and I was a bit disappointed that there were so few "explorationy" galaxies like those in the second game. Starshine Beach was really good though.
I honestly thought Starshine Beach was really forgettable. I'm a bit tired of Beach Bowl because of how much people use its music in SMBX ^_^;

I'm not sure what my favorite galaxy is exactly, but I have a question: Why are they called "Galaxies?" They're more like planets or solar systems than galaxies. Especially in the first game, each "world" is obviously a solar system, with each galaxy actually being a planet with some moons.

To answer the poll, I like SMG1 better because SMG2 was way too annoying to the point where I don't wanna beat it again (The Chimp, Squizzard, Sorbetti) and I've beaten SMG1 at least 5 times

I enjoyed SMG2 a little more than I did SMG. yoshi I didn't find either of the games tedious. The Chimp's challenges were all easy, Squizzard wasn't terribly difficult, and Sorbetti was practically a joke. I beat all of SMG twice as Mario and once as Luigi and beat all of SMG2 once (damn the Perfect Run though, beating that even once was enough).

It took my brother and I at least a week to beat Squizzard. Sorbetti, even if easy, is still annoying. The bowling challenge can go die.

Because the game is called Super Mario Galaxy, I'd guess. Branding, you know.

SMG 1 is better, because the galaxys are more open world like.
In SMG 2 Is a start and a goal, not more.

The question isn't which game is better though it's what is your favorite galaxy?
