I think it was more or less because the person insulted basically everyone and couldn't take criticism. I don't see anything wrong with that ban, personally. Permanent was too harsh though.

To a certain extent, yes. If this was his first case of rulebreaking, though, I'd save the permaban and give him a week ban.

Dang, I heard Kyasarin was bad But not a straight up dictator, was she a mod or admin on any other forum?
Also, I see his name keeps coming up all the time, what's up with that?

Kathy was only staff on smb.org as far as I know

In terms of SMBX forums, the original forums were the only ones that Kyasarin ever moderated. He also was a member on the Knuxforums for a brief period soon after the original forums closed, and he protested his highly negative portrayal in Knux's Kyasarin webcomic (which eventually became TAOK) but it didn't really stop Knux. He hasn't been back since that as far as I know.

Iirc DarkMatt is still in contact with Kyasarin, you could ask him.

One time I got in Knux's forum in the 2010 and I discovered Kyasarin was a moderator there.

Oh, I guess he could've been a moderator at Knux's while the original forums were still open. I didn't start going to Knux's until afterwards so I wouldn't know.

Kyasarin was an administrator for a very, very brief time.

I can't get the way back machine to work properly, I want to see the old NSMBX forum but it keeps saying it isn't archived.

NSMBX was never archived. It was still up even after it's shutdown

I can no believe I never went to the forums five years ago when I was always going to that website's home page! Wow! I found a few games to let's play though that I have not played in a while.

Same. When I played games on there school had pretty much drilled into my mind that all chat rooms/forums were bad places full of predators :P
