I hope this is still open by Friday or Saturday (probably when I'll submit)
Good luck to the others too!

You're suppose to PM Valtteri or TNT two reviews, not levels.

I love how everyone is like
"MARINA RESIGNED OMG I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS NOW I CAN BE A JUDGE LOLOLOL"
I feel really appreciated, thanks.
And yes, I will laugh at you once you become a judge and realize that it is one of the most unrewarding jobs on this forum.

I'm pretty sure nobody wrote anything like that.

Well, I figured that since I complain about review everything I play anyway, I'd be a perfect candidate for a judge. Then again, I may be the exception...

If that's why you even want to become a judge trust me and Marina, it isn't worth it. He is saying from his experience that level judging is hard and not worth the work. Just to get a pink username to make yourself look cool isn't a reason to become a level judge. You will have to take your job seriously when being a judge and as Marina already said, it is definitely not worth the effort.

I remember when guys didn't want pink ANYTHING, let alone show it off. The youth of today is just debased, huh?

They're also sexist as well, although I assume you're joking about this, so I decided to not accuse you of being sexist.

You know, pink usernames certainly are not the only reward. As a judge you are also helping people improve their level design by telling them exactly what they did right and what they didn't.

I was joking .__.
The reason I want to judge is because I am an aspiring game designer, and aside from actual design, I feel this would be a good experience for me, as I have already discussed with Valtteri.
Btw I hate pink

I judge levels because criticism is what led me to become such a great(ish) level designer and I want other people to have that experience.

Well maybe it's just because criticism never really was what made me the level designer who I am today that I don't feel that way. The motivation that kept me from resigning was basically "well someone HAS to judge all those levels, so might as well just help with it" and I was trying to maybe get a little bit of good reputation in this community for being helpful and stuff and helping aspiring level designers to become better but what I got instead was shittalk over shittalk how Level Judges were biased, how I was doing it wrong, how we were not objective enough, how the holy trinity of "nonlinearity, cgfx and slopes" always got the high places and at some point I was just so done. My decreasing motivation to write the reviews and my attitude change towards this community, plus the lack of time due to school starting again were what ultimately lead me to resign, and I can only hope that some day there will be competent, sturdy and motivated Level Judges that can do the deed, because I'm certainly not gonna do it.
Just a little advice for all you newcomers: Don't expect this to be fun and giggles. It's gonna be a shitload of work, there are still four pages of levels to be reviewed, with about 2 new coming in every day. Be prepared.

Wait, is it REQUIRED that Judges review all the levels? 0.0

Oh, just because you're a level judge doesn't mean you get to judge a contest lol. Trust me, I've been begging Valtteri to let me judge in a contest since CC8 and right now I'm only maybe gonna be a judge for CC10 (not even sure if this still stands now that I resigned, I mean Bomber57 got to judge too and he was never a level judge?)

I feel like my crappy English is against me again. I don't think I'll become as judge, but I'll go try it.

There isn't really a rule that says you've to review every level. Just try to review many levels as possible when you've time for it. It's not really stressful especially when there's more Level Judges doing the same thing as well.
