This is looking nice so far. You sure work onto a lot of projects, eh ^^?

Maybe you like to recolor the giant Ninji to the SNES-pallette (or you could use the giant ones in my pack, as an alternative :-P).
Those big restyled SMW-bushes are looking nice that way, as they have the needed detail, to fit into SMB2, in my opinion.

But I have aquestion too: Why using the "Chaos Emeralds", when the "Balance Emeralds" could be better, for restoring everything to normal? Or maybe it is, because the chaos emeralds will cause anymore chaos, so it overloops back to a normal state, because of somekind of "chaos-overkill"?
In any case a funny story you have there ^^.

...this not affect Copyright of Nintendo and Sega? You are getting money with his characters...
