heres a screen from level 2-7 Titled Scrolling Wastelands its a auto scroll level for world 2 and just a mention each world will have a auto scroll level in it so they will be somewhat a common thing in the project also being a waste land type of level I didn't need to go hard on the eye candy with it being a waste land and all that would kind of defeat the purpose but anyways here the screen and enjoy

The scenery is nice but it looks just like the world 1 stage in design, a linear level with upper and lower paths. Maybe t could have more variety in the autoscroll levels if they're so common?

thanks for the tip there will be some vertical auto scroll levels in the latter worlds and I might try and implement a diagonal auto scroll some wheres in the project but the Upper and lower paths in the level is used for the moon coin gimmick to make the player figure out where the moon coins are to acquire the star in the level

I've been following this project for a while, and I must say icez this looks pretty cool. The level design looks awesome and the levels looks so fun to play. I like that you post a new screenshot when you have started on a new level. If you need anything for this project just ask me and I'll help ya out. Good luck!

The left picture's frame clashes with the other ones.
Also is it possible to defeat bowser?

Thanks for pointing out the clash and no bowser can't be defeated. That whole sequence with bowser is a cut scene set up using text events layers, moving layer and player control locks it is well a scripted cut scene and bowser him self is just a background object

Oh lol I got an idea I guess it wouldn't work with the background object but oh we'll:
If you bring a hammer suit there and you kill bowser (I was assuming he was over an enemy before you told me), you get a joke ending with the Princess going "HOW DID YOU DO THAT?!?" And the game ends.

Hahaha haha you know what I could do that cause there a npc version of that bowser, just replace mother brain with so I could have it move with events in the cut scenes and because there is one instance where Mario is playable in the cut scene where he has to take out a squad of goombas. I could set the death event on the mother brain bowser npc to go to branch of events to say something silly like you stated and hence have a silly joke ending.
I will keep that in mind just as silly little extra I could put in the complete project something like a easter egg sort of thing.
