it is the year 2014
so why in the world is approximately 66% of the episode's filesize taken up by FUCKING WAV FILES?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?

Update: If you are using a European computer, it turns out the Intro.lvl file also has decimals. I've updated the second download link to include the fixed version of this file.
Also, in response to your question, qig, I had an issue where I had to edit a few of the music files and it wouldn't edit them in the mp3 format, so the wav files had to be used. They still work with SMBX, but yes, the files are quite large. I hope to get them converted when I release the update that includes TGCA Remake.

I have to say, this is a fantastic project. I played the first world a few hours ago, and I loved the atmosphere in each level, and I know the stars have to be cleverly hidden since I cannot for the life of me find the star in 1-1 and 1-2 (but I'm assuming I need Peach, Toad, or Link to obtain them since you pointed out in the intro that as you go along in the episode you will unlock new playables). Either way, though, I'm actually planning on making one gigantic review on this, but I may do it world-by-world (for instance: on August 18th I review world 1, August 20th I review world 2, and so on and so forth) so I don't exhaust myself.
Also, just a recommendation, with your Level Designers team, perhaps make "A New Invasion?" Maybe make its plot similar or even the same as The Invasion 2 had it and it could be like a sequel but with better quality, better graphics, and such. Of course, this is just a suggestion, though.

I've downloaded the episode some hours ago and played 4 levels, but I think it looks really good so far.
I liked the cutscene and the tutorial at the beginning of the episode. I likes also the design of the levels, the gimmicks used (like the little puzzle in fungus village) and the secrets.
I have a question: when you started this episode?
Oh, and I noticed this isn't still featured.

It took me less than 5 minutes to open up all the files and convert them to mp3s and in doing so i lowered the filesize by over 100 megabytes. i'm not sure why the community has to wait for another episode (which may or may not be ever released) for this one to be released in a state where the filesize isn't bloated by shit like a 60 mb music file.

Hi ! I face the same problem that before when I try to enter the Mayahem Temple Grounds level, I opened the file of the level with notebook and i found two "0,5" that I replaced by "1", but the error window is still here.

Did you also replace the folders that were in the fixed files download? There were some unused npcs that had decimals in Mayahem Temple Grounds.

gah. gotten all the stars (100 of them) and tried going through the 100 star door. it gives me an error with the "file not found" assuming thats the remake. XD

You Already got all the stars!? That was fast. I can't help you with the error because I haven't seen the reward as it was added in the last couple of weeks. Hopefully krazykoopa will have a fix. I don't believe it's supposed to be the remake though.
What did you think of the episode?

it was awesome!!
though im not bragging about beating it or anything... i kinda used cheats >w< but its freaking amazing. if this ever gets an update, my only wish is for it to be a bigger castle to roam around in

Finally my first part of this game after a lot of issues... and second part:
Cool videos, bossedit8. I did notice, however, that some of you are still having issues with the intro level at the very beginning. For some reason, some of the pictures that go with the story aren't there, and I'm not sure why. At least there aren't any error messages and you can play through the episode.

I think I know why some of those pictures aren't there. You used some codes on the size that has a number like this:
You see, it has a number value that goes like this (not sure what is it called): 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17,... (and so on)
With that, in the European localized PCs it won't show. Make sure that every size has a value like this: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18,... (and so on)

On my end(dunno if it's everyone else or if it's an exclusive issue) dying in Yoshi Mountain automatically places me a few part ahead in the stage if I don't hit the checkpoint, thus making the level really really annoying and incredibly unforgiving in this aspect. Especially when you're going the bullet bill bouncing route.
