Same. I want to design games or morelike websites. I've already made a website for my smbx things. And Yes Ii do like legos. I'm actually more active on lego.com MB's.

That's actually really hilarious. Most people who keep playing with legos/making SMBX levels/generally creative end up being business gods when they're older because all the jocks/CoD fanboys/etc. end up dropping out of high school/joining the military/dropping out of college and have crappy jobs because they're too busy in their mom's basement trash-talking people over Xbox Live to get a real education. And BTW people who are good at first-person shooters end up having horrible aim in real life.
You know,I think its okay to play games like COD,as long as you don't play it like all day and night.Like last time I played a COD game was like,4 months ago.And now I recently have been playing smbx and Minecraft, which are both really creative games. And I actually also do plan on being a game designer when I grow up.
If you're thinking about being a game designer you could try roblox. I mean it has coding. (I'm actually ok at doing roblox but I don't go on much.)

Are you kidding? Nintendo is rich.
Even if they stop producing anything they would be rich for their entire life. Y'know how much money they made with Pokemon X and Y? A lot.
but nobody is richer than me!11!!1!

The problem with graphics, to me, is that I don't get why people are padding the budget of their games (or worse, cutting the budget from more qualitative areas of development) just to make the visuals of the game look nicer than they would be otherwise. At best, a good game results that costs more than it should have costed to make, which hurts the bottom line for the sake of what is in actuality much more of a shallow gimmick than anything Nintendo has recently done with their control schemes. At worst, you get a game that is more to look at than it is to play.
I don't think there's an objective person in the world who can say that competitive marketing, executed in this manner, isn't hurting games. It hurts the mass attitude by which games are viewed, it hurts by design costs, and it forces companies to sell their consoles at a loss for literally no reason—no company should ever think that they have to make their console so powerful that it costs more than what gamers should, by the economy, be willing or expected to pay.
The graphics should be in place to complement the function of the game and the vision of the designer, not limit those things by default just because marketing teams want to make their commercials look pristine.
Take my opinion with a grain of salt as I'm not really IN the industry at all. These are just my feelings from a long-term outside perspective.

All tech YouTubers as well as YouTube gamers that I watch agreed, actually.
