Valtteri's Island 4 which was showed in the E3 was looking better then anything i ever saw.

At least it doesn't mostly contain SLOPES IN CASTLES. That's something I never understood in VI3 and other episodes. Does rain wither the castle down?
Also let's not forget TGE2 had SMB3 bowser for first boss and a giant boom boom for second.

Not to mention, TGE2 had a rather lamer secret ending than TGE. Instead of getting a secret (I guess no longer!) world, you just get Peach and the ending.

Mario Classic drove me nuts. It was supposed to be a classic Mario game, but it was anything but. Lots of wide open level design, stuff that wasn't part of the Mario universe ever, it just annoyed me. If I ever decide to do an episode someday, it's probably going to be like Mario Classic, except... You know, actually classic.

Something that I didn't like with most episodes in particular is that they were very hard. Shout outs go to Super Mario Star Expedition, everything by Zephyr, Invasion 2 Hard(I mean, I know it was supposed to be hard, but most of it was because of bad level design), and Valtteri Island 3.

Speaking of Valtteri Island 3, I gotta give credit to it for being just like Super Mario World... In graphics only. The level design was a complicated mess.

Super Mario Brothers 4 Episode I(which I suspect no one else who has commented on this topic has ever played, as it's very obscure, just like pretty much every episode that comes from "nobody" users) had bad level design(like if you mixed one of your first SMBX levels with the complicated level layouts of episodes like Mario Classic), but the graphic choices were... Okay, nothing special but better than the stuff from 2010 with the awkward bullshit used by everyone at the time.

Some episodes I like more include Jeff's Revenge and the Kyasarin's Adventure series. Super Mario Eternal Chaos was okay too.

I remember that! It's actual title is "The Invasion: Way 2 Hard" and I learned almost everything I know about SMBX because of it.

Actually, I also played that episode. Granted, the only reason I downloaded it was to play 2 player with my mother, and that may be why I didn't think the episode was badly designed. The only part I didn't like about the episode (so far; we just made it to the 3rd level in the 3rd world) is in the first level of the third world: there are piranha plants on top of pipes on a moving layer, and jumping on their spawn points will hurt you.
