Ghost Hawk did the same thing, calm down.Ice wrote:The Best Level Ever by SMBXxer
There were clashes everywhere, the design wasn't good at all and it was really short. 1/10
Also I edited the topic, I used bossedit8's video casue it shows the real level instead of your fake screenshot
even though it's a joke level i don't get this still.GrätselBüchner wrote:Not sure Danny deserves this.

A joke level doesn't have to look like complete shit though, that's what you fail to understand. It wasn't even funny either, so I don't think you can even call it a joke level. It was shit, nothing more.SMBXxer wrote:EDIT: When you say "clashes everywhere and the design wasn't good at all and it was really short", think about it, it's a joke level.

I never insulted you, I insulted the level. But sure, I guess you could say I insulted you, albeit indirectly.SMBXxer wrote:How about you shut up and stop insulting me.
How could you even consider me as a friend? We've never talked to each other, much less in a civil manner. I've honestly never cared for you, you are honestly annoying and intolerable. Sorry, but I would never consider you as a friend. There are just some people here I can't tolerate, you are one of them. Sorry if I upset you, but it's not my problem.Yes, you are(Or, were) my friend. So, it's not a joke.
Yes we have, many times.8bitmushroom wrote: We've never talked to each other
Did you even read this quote?GhostHawk wrote:Calm down guys, let's get back on topic and discuss the level. Thanks.
Lol, those steps do seem to make a good joke level. I wished I can try making my first level, but I don't think its going to work out. I already know the basics and the layers/events things, but I don't know how to make a decent level.Kep wrote:Please allow me to teach you how to make a better joke level. Not saying this was horrible, I just wouldn't consider it a joke, since there was nothing funny, and there were a few things it lacked.
STEP NUMBER ONE - Refrain from making kaizo difficulty. Sure, you're definitely allowed to add unfair death traps, just not tons and tons and tons of enemies flying at you at once. I must admit, though, the Cheep Cheeps and Hammer Bros. were impossible to get hit by unless you fell down or slowed down the glitch with Link.
STEP NUMBER TWO - Don't make obvious remarks like the pro-tip at the very beginning. Let players try the level out entirely themselves. Unless you want an NPC talk to you in jest, I would refrain having question mark signs and message blocks which give you false or correct hints.
STEP NUMBER THREE - Joke levels don't necessarily have to look bad and clash. A great thing to do is start out the player in a peaceful grassland, and once they go down a pipe, there is a bunch of crappy graphics, and random talking NPCs (such as the troll face).
STEP NUMBER FOUR - Have jokes. There is no such thing as a joke level without jokes. They can be sexual, vulgar, hard to understand, cheesy, or rude towards the player.
STEP NUMBER FIVE - Make your joke level feel like a whole episode. Have some plot twist or something. Have a random Toad tell you, "The cheese got kidnapped by Cookie Monster!" and when you reach the end, that Toad says, "Haha, dummy! You totally fell for it!".
Otherwise, this was a decent joke level. Keep it up, and may I add, if someone's annoying you, try not to let your bipolar depression get in the way. Just try to stay calm, maybe report them, and don't reply.
I know your new here, but what does this have to do with the level?RoundPiplup wrote: Lol, those steps do seem to make a good joke level.
