Try saving your level in Wohlstand's editor, then opening it back in SMBX.

What is Wohlstand's editor?
When Mario warps from section 2 to section 3, then back to section 2, and then when trying to go to section 3 again the error appears. And it only seems to appear when you have the mushroom power up.

The editor did not help, but removing the two piranhas near the warp did. So the project is back on. Thanks for the help anyway.
Aeon_Wisp and Healthymario, how is the situation with your levels, did you already destroy them in anger after my last post? And Mech, are you still interested in designing a level?

Could this be the first entirely SMB2-styled project, that i ever saw ?
I really like it so far (my most favourite screenshot is the second to last one). I am glad my GFX can be of use for you :-)
I am not sure, if you will release a demo, as the way you like to build the world is rather complicated, but if you ever release one, i will play it for sure, as i really like the level-design as shown on the screens so far. It seems to have much exploration and secrets within the areas.
I also had the idea of something like that (metroidvania-style), but because of the lack of time, i couldn't ever make it ^^
I wish you the best of luck and much fun for your project. May you succeed with it someday, so we finally can play a great doki doki-episode.

I still want to make a level, and I do not care the theme, if it is a level that is suited in my skills! I once tried to make a Metroid episode, canceled it, and now making one again!

Well thank YOU for making these outstanding graphics.  There will be no demo, as the way the world is built does not really allow that. I will finish the core of the game and then put it out there for beta testing. I will be busy with work and other stuff, so the release date is rather difficult to determine at this point. Plus I would still need more level designers.

Out of the four level bases I sent out, I got zero back.  So this project is on hiatus currently.

No worries. I'm determined to finish this project, so your level will be put to use.
Are there voluntary level designers to make one of these levels in a month's time?
Sky
Castle Yard
Snow
Temple
Factory
Palace
As mentioned previously, I will provide you with the tilesets, enemies and level section sizes. Just fill them with blocks, backgrounds and NPCS, I'll add the warps and other stuff.

The episode is 99% finished, only finishing touches and testing remains. Beta testing starts this week, already have two testers, but need a few more for feedback. Taking volunteers.
