Nobody asked for that though. We only think the poll should be removed because it's a bad mechanic generally.
Then why was I reading posts of people complaining that the whole election is biased? (poll notwithstanding) If anything, it is a sign that those people are missing the point about elections should be objective, but in reality, they are grounded in being subjective (people bring their perspectives, experiences, feelings, beliefs, desires, and/or power into the decision-making process as who, what, and why they want anyone they support elected)
There's a difference between 'biased' and 'subjective' though.

God I have never seen a community have so little self-esteem.
What do you guys even want? Why are we continuing to throw shit about this? I thought we wrapped it up pretty well and learned from it.

However, I will propose this. If you guys want to discuss about how future elections should be handled in a proper and intelligent manner, you may do so here.
Your response "Locking this; too much butthurt people here." was immature.

Are we still talking about something that is completely irrelevant today? Yeah, sure, Knux deleted the forums a couple months back, but you don't see anybody talking about it now. Nobody cares about that anymore, it's in the past. Joey even said somewhere that he was somewhat glad that Knux deleted the forums as there were some things he had to go and fix up (I don't have the source, but I remember he said that somewhere). You don't have to repeatedly bring it up and bash Knux about it. He even said he was sorry about it and that he did the wrong thing.
People got a little mad at him, but the only ones you see bashing him now are the staff and DarkMatt. That's it.

1) running a poll to determine staff is a dumb idea. especially when this is the smbx community where people flat out admitted they voted for people because of things like how good they were at level design.
2) not only is a poll a bad idea, but it was run like shit as well. votes were reset multiple times, including a few hours before the poll closed, without giving the community a proper amount of time to re-vote.
3) in the end the poll didn't even matter, as the staff just chose who they wanted for the moderator position; ignoring the results of the poll. so why even have a poll in the first place?

qig and 8bit pretty much stole my words
I really have no comment on the poll at the moment, except for this: it was terrible

Can we just deal what it is? I was not online while on Tuesday through Friday Midday because of not being at Home (I was at School), just a little notice because I could not connect to this forum.
