Have you tried letting it continue? That can sometimes happen if your computer is slow and it takes a long time to load, but if you give it a bit of extra time it'll finish okay.
Ok so I tried waiting some time after the error message pops up, and nothing happens. I guess it's another limitation of my computer...
Is there a problem while testing in the legacy editor included with the smbx.exe file of the SMBX2/data folder? I know I won't be able to use the LunaLua features but that's the only way if I should stay with 2.0...
If not I will have to downgrade to 1.3.0.1 until I upgrade my computer since the lag is not a bigger problem there...
Also this whole conversation should have been in Help & Support imo

Testing in game works. Not the ideal way, but it is a way.

Are you saying that it's not wrong to test in legacy?

Test in the game itself.

I don't understand. How can I test directly in the game?

Technically you'd make an episode consisting of one level alone (or little, how many you want to test).

Remember, SMBX uses a considerable part of the ram, my computer would get very slow with both SMBX and the editor opened...
Well, I guess I will stay with 1.3.0.1 until I get a new computer. For now I feel more comfortable with it. And I will have to replace the non-MP3 music files that I had on my project.
and I can't believe how this topic reached almost 30 posts in one day lol

I would strongly suggest trying a fresh install of SMBX2, it sounds like something has been corrupted there.

When I started to experience the issues, I tried reinstalling it but nothing changes

You reinstalled it to a new location, by just extracting the 7z file?

I always put it in the same location.

That may be the problem then. You must install SMBX2 to a fresh location, and not over the top of an old install.

I'm not so sure because I had that error the very first time I installed SMBX2 on this computer, same on the old

there's truly no getting around a new computer so I hope you can accomplish that as quickly as possible.
