The remake seems very amazing!
I wish if I could play it because I can't play it and there a bug that says
Invalid : File already open

Just to break up all the arguing, I'm going to say that this looks like a very nice little remake of SMB2. I don't really mind what version of SMB2 it's remade on, it looks like a faithful recreation with a lot of effort put into it. I might give it a go if I have time and give my opinion on it.

Episode is great!

I like it! All I hope is that the whale spouts work like they did in the original game.

This remake is pretty good, every level is almost exactly the same as the original. However I found the difficulty is vastly easier and was just blowing right through levels right to the end. There is distinct a lack of flair with no potion doors, slots 1-up game or Pidgits. Obviously on this version of smbx that would be very difficult to make. Overall wasn't bad. The intro is probably my favorite thing about it.

This is actually the weirdest thread I've ever seen on SMBX. This guy made a remake, guy says he should have remade an arguably better version of the game, creator gets really defensive. Epic dab!

He's been like that all the time and eventually he got fully self-destructive. Probably some real personality disorder here. I think this book is kinda closed.

How can I know this by referring to the author directly?

I've seen it just recently that a third user brought a new download because he downloaded the thing before. A lock has not much of a purpose.
