But the PNG graphics have less size. Do you know how much the episode would take to load if it had GIF graphics? that's why they did PNG graphics compatible with SMBX (and because if you use GIF graphics you'll have to make a "m" file of the graphic while with PNG graphics you don't have to, saving space). It's the same reason why SMBX now supports WAV files

Also you haven't said why you want GIF graphics. It's a bad idea

Well...
It's been a long time since I've last updated this remake.
There have been a few changes since then:
- The shells and lava/water are animated
- A different palette for the Extra variant of the Secret Boss.
- Remade the Bill Blaster sprites to resemble the original sprite's shading
- Added a new desert BG
- Remade the clouds, bushes and the hills sprites
- And some others that I don't remember...

Can you make this episode for SMBX2 Beta 4 or higher?

Tried playing this episode with SMBX2 Beta 4 Patch 3 and the level associations seem to be borked. Almost all levels error out when trying to load without and extension present.
Example: Load the game "Error: can't load Title. File not found." Title.lvl exists in the directory. Changing the auto start level from "title" to to title.lvl" fixes the issue. This looks like a cool episode and I want to play it but don't want to have to repair all the broken level associations. Is there any chance this Episode will be fixed soon?
